They are ranked with #1 being the best and #44 being the worst. Rankings were based on the following: success of economic, domestic, and foreign policies, positive precedents set, high moral standards, scandals and affairs, popularity, charisma, short-term effects, long-term effects on the country, cabinet and advisers. Each category getting one point with the possibility of going negative due to negative effects of a president. Average is 2.36. Red color indicates great presidents. Blue indicates good presidents. Green indicates presidents that might have done well but fell short. Orange indicates presidents that the country may have been better off without or had really no effect on the country. Purple indicates poor presidents. Gray indicates a president who took the country backwards and were complete failures. But keep in mind the current administration's long term effects have not been finalized yet.
