#96 Oh, No, You Don't!

This has got to be the most ridiculous thing that President Obama has said to date. And that is saying a lot. This president bar none has been the most pompous, arrogant, lying, deceitful, two-faced, chicken-fied, kiss-butt leader this country has ever had and he thinks he deserves a second term.

Reasons why he does not deserve a second term:

His approval rating has been under 50% since December 2009. The only time it went above 50% is when the order to kill Osama Bin Laden was given. This shows that he is not doing what most of American citizens want. The first year in office is when his approval rating started to drop, since day one. This shows that the people were duped by him and his campaign promises of 2008. The only promises he has followed through with his turning abortion laws that President Bush signed, repealing don't ask, don't tell policy, repealing President Bush's tax cuts, and his health care bill. The first one only got him the liberal women's votes. The second one no one really cares about. The third one just took $600 from every one's pocket this tax season (check your refund). His lies to the American people. This has been overly demonstrated by two of this SOTU speeches. In 2009 Congressman Wilson yelled liar and in 2010 Justice Alito mouthed the words that's not true. And these were just two of the surface lies he did. The lies are of course ways for him to look better and to use propaganda for his own political power. And his third one wasn't the most truthful either.
His bowing down to other kings and leaders. Article 1 Section 9 Clause 8 of the US Constitution says that no American can take the title of any nobility. The reason why is because our founding fathers wanted it made known that the US will never pay homage or honor to any king. Even in the Olympics we refused to lower our flag towards any king. If the average citizen believes in this then its leader should respect the same wishes.
He has broken too many promises. He said unemployment rate would drop below 8%, which has never done in his presidency. He even broke his promises to his liberal friends when he said he would bring the troops home in the first year and a half of his presidency. He did not. He only did this right before the November 2011 elections. He said lobbying and ear marks would stop. They haven't. He even granted some waivers for some lobbyists. It is said that he made over 500 promises during his campaign of 2008 and only kept around 120 of them. His Vice President, Joe Biden. Enough said.
His illegal votes in Congress. Pushing his agenda by taking a "time out" while some senators are away and giving them time to vote while the timer should have been ticking. This is a rule that Congress made.
His censorship of Fox News. At one point he let all the news reporters in to a conference but refused Fox News.
His war on the Christians. He said he is a Christian but has denied we are a Christian nation. He did though say we are one of the largest Molsem populated countries in the world, which is not exactly true, depending on where you have the cut off at. He hasn't gone to church that much since becoming president. His newest fight is forcing the Catholic Church to mandate birth control into their insurance policies. The RCC has long been opposed to contraception. And now he is changing his policy on forcing them because he was reminded that this is a presidential election year and he needs more Catholics to vote for him. This would be an odd statement to make since we are not a "Christian nation".
And he hasn't taken any blame for anything that is important. He has blamed everything on President Bush that has gone wrong in his administration. Good leaders take all the blame. A captain goes down with the ship. A piece of crap goes down in the toilet but takes the toilet paper with him.

These are just a small number of reason why he doesn't deserve a second term. The only problem is no GOP candidate deserves a first term. This is one of the worse presidents in the history of the United States.

#95 Fox Tops Again

The Fox News Network has been named top news again for the 10th year in a row. The one known for being fair and balanced. But besides being trusted, there are other reasons why it is the top watched network. In no particular order, here is why, list is not exhaustive.

Chris Matthews, big mouth liar.
Rachel Maddow, pompous (expletive)
President Obama, enough said.
Ed Schultz, fat lying slob.
Al Sharpton, hypocritcal "reverend".

These people are all jerks. All they do is try and rip apart anything that deals with family values, religiously based, and conservative ideas. They try to push their liberal agendas down every one's throat and won't let the other side have a voice. They claim to be heroes of the 1st Amendment but they are actually for censorship because they try and shut the right side of the political spectrum up. At least Fox listens to both sides. One day maybe these groups will wake up and be American patriots instead of pinheads.

#94 Sins of the Father

One of the problems of the world today is that people do not know how to take responsibility. Everyone blames everyone else but for their own problems. With all of the blaming going on in this world for all of its problems who should be blamed the most? Here are the results from last month's poll: Which generation is to blame for most of our problems? This data was collected from three different websites.

8% said The Baby Builders, WWIers, (67-100 years old).
48% said The Baby Boomers, Post-WWII (45-67 years old).
6% said Generation X, Brat Pack (23-44 years old).
2% said Generation Y, ADHD Club (0-22 years old).
17% said Goes back even before all of these.
19% said The worst is yet to come.

Sure, there have problems in this world since the day that man was created. So the 17% who said it goes back before all of the other choices are correct but that is ancient history. Things could have and should have been able to change since then But they haven't. Who is to blame?

It was refreshing to see that the younger generation (Y) is not being blamed. Too many times the phrase what is wrong with the kids these days is used. Although there is something seriously wrong the kids these kids. They are abused and spoiled at the same time. They feel they deserve the world yet feel depressed as well. They have their future ahead of them but they see no future for themselves. They are a confused generation. But maybe it's not really their fault. Oh, they need to grow up and realize that they are the ones who control their destiny. But there is truth to the fact that they were messed up before they came around. As Billy Joel sang in the 80's (except his idea is misguiding), they didn't start the fire. The world had been messed up for a while. But it seems like things have been getting worse and worse over recent times.

The Baby Builders are not the ones to put most of the blame on. They lived through some horrible times. They went through two World Wars. They lived through the worst economic depression on record. But in all of this they held on to their morals. They kept their family values and in return were able to hold on to their families. They valued work and knew that recreation was in the spare time. Yes, they had their problems as well. They lived through two World Wars because they started them or at least were unable to stop them due to apathy. They were not highly educated and therefore ruined the environment without knowing the effects.

Are the Baby Boomers are to blame for most of the problems? Well, they brought in civil rights. They got the world to look at themselves a different way. They started recycling and other programs that would take stress off mother earth. But they had problems. Their songs told of the these problems. If you can't be with the one you love, then love the one you're with. Sex, drugs, rock n' roll. Woodstock. Make love, not war. But at the same time they were changing the values of marriage. Not only make love, not war, but the idea of free love came around. People became very promiscuous. They got high and "fell in love". They tried to hide their lifestyles by getting abortion to be legalized so they wouldn't have to face their consequence. Then by the time they were 30 they realized to afford some of their lifestyles they needed to get real jobs and stop with the abuse of drugs. When they came down from their highs they realized the person they fell in love with is not the person they love. Divorce rates went to the highest levels in history. Family values were starting to be destroyed. God and country became unreal. So unreal, prayer in school was stopped. God was not allowed to be taught anymore in public schools. And in return moral values were questioned and definitions of the American dream were changed.

Generation X is not to take full blame for this mess. Their main problem is they do not know how to be leaders. Their parents raised them based on books and not reality. Their butts were spared the rod and they became spoiled, hence the term Brat Pack. But their parents gave them the wrong values. Life didn't make sense anymore without values. All they started to care about was having fun. They couldn't make any connections with their parents. And because of this separation they don't know how to be parents because their own parents wanted to be their friends instead of being disciplinarians. If their children have problems they don't know how to deal with it so they take them to a doctor and them labeled as ADHD and give them drugs to feel and act normal. Heavy Metal and Rap ruled because it was a way to show their anger against their parents. But they do have their share of problems. They have disregarded the optimism of making a better world that their parents offered. They don't know how to keep commitments. Now the divorce rate is sky high. It's not as high as it was ten years ago but that is because this generation decided that marriage is not needed. The idea of values is lost since they don't know who God is.

No, the answer is the Baby Boomers. Although perhaps the worst is yet to come.

#93 The Conservative Field of Candidates

With only three days left to the Iowa Caucuses get underway, a process given too much importance to by the way, here is a list of what to look for in a candidate. Before you go on please do not think this will just be about the GOP. Conservatives are not just from the GOP. However since the opposition to conservatism is liberalism and the only candidate posing a threat to the Conservative field is Obama this paper will focus on most the GOP candidates.

Michele Bachmann, Minnesota, three terms, chair of the Congressional Tea Party Caucus. A tough conservative. See political spectrum page. But a little too tough. She is hard-core. She comes across as heartless until it comes to women's issues. But the main problem with her is that she seems unreal. She is monotoned and sounds like she is remembering her cue cards. Her ideas on paper are good. But we have seen what ideas off the paper can do in Wisconsin and Ohio. She is a good idealist but doesn't seem to be a leader.
John Huntsman, Former governor of Utah, Ambassador to China. A good family man with seven children, two adopted. Good conservative values. He is not too hard and not too soft. The only problem with him is he doesn't act strong enough to get what he wants accomplished. Sometimes a little pompousness goes a long way.
Rick Santorum, Former Senator and Congressman from Pennsylvania. Another good family man with good values. His leadership in the Senate was moderately successful. One thing makes him unelectable though. When he talks he does not look you in the face. During the debates he would focus on the floor. A good man but just not the complete package of leadership.
Ron Paul, Doctor and Congressman from Texas. On paper it seems like this is the man to be the next president. In reality, he's a nut. Everything he stands for sounds like these are the ways things should be with a few exceptions. Rick Perry, Governor of Texas. Another man with strong conservative values, but more like Michele Bachmann than Ronald Reagan. This is odd because he walks, talks, dresses, and responds like Reagan, without the personality though. It seems like he is more about soundbites but not so quick with on the spot backtalk, which may be a positive actually. A strong advantage he has is that he is governor of a large state, which is almost president of a medium sized country. A good man, too much of a robot.
Mitt Romney, Businessman and Former Governor Massachusetts. He is another one that on paper is conservative but a good label for him is that he is a Massachusetts conservative. That is like saying a Californian Conservative. He is more moderate. This makes him more electable but it also shows he is more likely to be indecisive. he has been on both sides of the fence on many issues. Not so much a flip-flop like John Kerrey was but a mind changer. Massachusetts is not the place to raise politicians.
Newt Gingrich, Professor and Former Speaker of the House from Georgia. Not so much the traditional family man although he believes in traditional family values. On paper he is a true conservative with enough gumption and at the same time compassion in reality. He has foreign policy experience and even though he has never been a governor has enough know-how to get things done. His age is the one main concern. He would be the oldest president elected for the first term. The one great thing about his ideas is shown on his website. Randall Terry-Author and political activist Democrat from New York and DC. Yes, there is someone running against Obama ob the DEM side. And ~~perhaps~~ the better choice. But he apparently was GOP once as well, making him like Mitt Romney. He is the closest thing to the TEA Party that DEMs have, which may appeal to conservative DEMs. One major problem is that he has no experience. Still, voting for him is better than the other DEM.

#91 I Thought It Was Unprecedented

What happened? President Obama no longer says he is the best at something. Everything up to this point in his presidency has been "unprecedented". Of course he would call all of those compliments. But now apparently he has slipped in so many polls he even slipped in his own.

What pompousness. What arrogance. What total stupidity. What makes him think that he could put his name up there with the like of these men? To say such a thing brings disrespect to those who have served before him. Only history can judge these things. One can not write his own name into the history books, only those who are effected by him. This blog is the best ever, unprecedented, or at least in the top four of all time.

Now if he was referring to Andrew Johnson, then there is a case for that argument. Of course, the Johnson he is referring to doesn't have the greatest of track records either. Notice he did not say Jefferson, Washington, Reagan, or even TRoosevelt because it would be too easy to prove wrong. And he didn't even use GWBush because then he would have to explain his own failures and/or blame him for everything, again.

Clinton had statues made of him, but not of himself. In about two years this man will erect one in his own name. Hmmm, Obamanation maybe? The only things he is top four in are:

#90 Ninety-Nine Red Ballons Go By

Occupy Wall Street; the antithesis of the Tea Party. They claim that they are against Wall Street because 99% of the people are being controlled by 1% of the population. They claim this 1% include the big business CEO's, head of corporations, escape artists of the tax codes, hypocritical bourgeoisie extremists, and what Obama says are people who make $250,000 or more. And of course this 1% is backed by the GOP and every conservative. As with any political pundancy these are exaggerated numbers.

First of all the number of millionaires in this country is more than any other country. But the percent is not 1%. It is not 2%. It is 5% of Americans are millionaires. If we claimed that $250,000 is the cut-off for these problems we would have to raise the percent to a walloping 15%.

Secondly, who are these people that make over $250,000? Sure, CEO's and people that own their own business, i.e., the entrepreneur. But others that are included in this mess are professional sports figures, models, lucky lottery winners, authors, and the biggest number...Hollywood. Yes, Michael Moore, you fat slothful, gluttonous piece of crap that uses the same capitalistic ways you argue against to make a living, you are one of the top 1%. Notice though that politicians are not in that group. But again this is misleading. One reason why $250,000 was chosen as the cut off is because that is the highest amount that government employees (hmmm...Congress and the President) could make. But that is just their income. Most politicians are millionaires. Most come from wealthy families, because that is how they could afford to run for office in the first place.

Thirdly, where are these people? Oddly enough the most of the top ten places where millionaires live are in the area located around DC and Democratically controlled states. http://finance.yahoo.com/real-estate/article/113718/states-most-millionaires-cnbc. The only exception being Alaska. The state where most businesses were started by individuals willing to go the extra mile and work for a living. By shear numbers it doesn't look like the GOP or especially conservatives are the ones who keep backing this 1% up.

This current administration is demonizing and criminalizing those who built this country; small business owners and corporations, both who supply jobs for the people. The four factors of production are capital, land, labor, and entrepreneurship. These four things supply jobs for everyone else. Yes, there are those who will get rich off of others, but it is only because we are stupid enough to keep buying their junk, watching their games, seeing their movies, and voting for them. We are the problem. Why don't we occupy Home Street?

The Occupy groups are just, should we say, terrorists groups. Well, they were allowed to say it about the Tea Party (which again, is not the savior of anything by any means).

#89 That's What Friends Are For

Although some would argue, the United States is and has always been since its inception, the symbol of democracy. Ninety-nine percent of all Western Hemisphere nations modeled their governments in one way or another after the American experiment. The new presidential type of government had never really been tried before. This is why Jefferson is quoted as saying: I have no fear that the result of our experiment will be that men may be trusted to govern themselves without a master. But once this experiment proved to be working, others followed suit. Even today new nations who are going through revolution and finding freedoms for the first time are modeling their new governments after the American ideal (no longer an experiment). Yes, it is true that we are heavily influencing some places into a more democratic way of life, which ironically is the opposite of what democracy is, but isn't better to help influence than to allow some places to fall back into dictatorships and chaos? The problem is it seems like we are the only ones who really stick up for some places. We are the policemen of the world. Unfair, dangerous, costly (and can't leave out Obama's--arrogant) at times, it's still better in the long run that people experience what freedom is. But we need help from allies. Here are the results from last month's poll: Who is our closest ally?

Definitely the United Kingdom should be at the top of this list. Ever since 1870 ties between these two nations have been the closest any two nations could ever be and still remain separate. Even though we remained neutral in both world wars at first, we were supplying the British with weapons, money, and manpower throughout their struggles. And in return when we needed them in the Cold War, the Gulf Wars (including the Libyan fiasco in 1984-85), and the War on Terrorism, they were there to lend support. Long live the Queen.

Canada, our closest ally in location, is not so supportive as the UK. They are more of a silent partner. They have supported us in many of our encounters but really do not get involved physically. What's the problem, eh?

Japan, a country that vowed not to have military action after WWII, has been one of best friends internationally. Yet, they have a huge reason not to. When we dropped the second atomic weapon on them three days after we killed over 200,000 people, it wasn't to end the war. It was to prove a point to the Stalin that communism is the next enemy of democracy. The second bomb was not necessary to drop. Yet, Japan remains a close ally. And when the War on Terrorism was officially started Japan jumped right in. Arigoto.

Australia, the farthest from the world and all the wars that the human race has endured, the ones with the least amount of worries when the world shows it still hates each other, still got involved and has been supportive of the US ever since it became a Parliamentary Democracy free from the bounds of a monarch. No worries, Mate.

Russia, India, and China apparently are still on the low end of the totem poll. China is easy to see why. They threw off democracy in 1949, even though we saved them from the Japanese in WWII. They got involved with Korea and Vietnam when the UN said these places should be dealt with to save freedom. And now they are taking all the world's money (due to our own stupidity). Russia, when it turned democratic, after years of being controlled by "Socialists", should have been reached out to and helped but we didn't, thereby creating a hostile ally. If the US and Russia teamed up to stand up against dictatorial rule, not many dictators would be able to retain their control. When Russia was hurting for food and needed extra help, we turned our backs on them and allowed China to be our most favored nation. But Nyet. India should now be moving up on the list. Since the lying Pakistani government reared its true intention, India should be revered as a very important ally in securing the area and should be helped as much as possible, minus all the computer technicians from Microsoft that is.

Mexico and other American nations should be sought after as close allies, after all we can walk there. But I guess too many Americans are still upset with immigration and their own biases.

France, Germany and the rest of Europe? From 1945-2001, we took care of their lands. We placed preventive weapons on their soil. We gave them financial aid to get their feet back on the ground. We sent men and women to Vietnam to save French butt. But when we needed them in the last 20 years they turned away. . There should be a stronger tie between the US and Europe. But unlike President Obama, there should be no apologies for the US being "arrogant". Without US aid and help, how would the two world wars Europe started have changed the way the world is? Europeans are good people but the friendship is not as strong as it should be. All except Spain and Italy. Viva Italia y Espagne

But perhaps the best ally we have and need is poor little Isra'el. All alone in a world that hates them. The only democracy in a region filled with Absolute Monarchs, Theocratic maniacs, and extreme radical religious murderers, dating back to the 600's AD. They are in a very vital region, one that could explode at any given moment. A region that could throw havoc into the world at any given time by raising the price of oil. And they are the doorstep into the region. Shalom eretz Isra'el. Sh'ma.

#88 Me Thinks Thou Protests...

The First Amendment to the Constitution not only gives us the freedoms of speech, religion and the press, which most people know and understand for the most part, it also gives us freedom to petition the government and to assemble. But with these freedoms come responsibility. With speech you can not slander and/or libel against people, talk show hosts not included apparently. With religion you can not perform human sacrifices. With press you can not accuse without rational reason, cable news shows hosts again not included. Now, with the freedom of petition our limitations are that some people are not allowed to be associated with others due to conflict of interests, but that apparently doesn't include lobbyists. And with freedom of assembly, the limitation is that is has to be done peacefully. Inciting a riot can actually be considered treasonous since it may be "levying war" against the state.

Most protests are of course exercising in the freedom of assembly, some are boycotts which are not. Most protests have a real reason and/or are started by real movements and rational causes. The Americans boycotting the British, writing letters of bitter disagreement, and of course having a "tea party" are prime examples of how protests should go. Unfortunately, our friends of the British crown did not get the message and therefore we had to fight. Mosts protesters are people who want drastic change. The word to describe these people are radicals and reactionaries. These kinds of protesters are good for the cause. They get people to think. Progressives on both sides of the spectrum are good. They usually have rational reasons and many can be considered heroes. The protesters who are not rational or who have no real reason to protest are not heroes but can be described as nuts.

The so-called Tea Party, which by the way is NOT the poster child for conservative values, is an outgrowth of the GOP that is the epitome of the anti-Obama crowd. What started out as a protest against big government in the form of high taxes and dictatorial tendencies by the Democratically controlled Congress at the time has now turned into a disgrace against the middle class by doing the same thing they were protesting against. On the other side, these Occupiers (The 99% Club, which are not the poster child for the DEMs) are the epitome of anti-big business and any conservative values. Both have real reasons to protest. Both are starting to do irrational things. The only difference is the Tea Party used peaceful demonstrations and the power of the vote to get things done. The Occupy Party is using violence. This is mainly due to the fact that Tea Partiers know what their cause is. Occupiers do not.

Whether Tea Party or Occupy (insert city) are the ones protesting, the same result usually happens; chaos. And if chaos is what happens then we have to ask, is it worth it? And although it is not new, government seems to be following the same pattern. Republicans and Democrats alike have become so faraway from being in touch with the people they have no clue what the solutions to our problems are anymore. Big government...baby got back! Look at some of the things that we are being fed, by the feds (and states)

California governor Jerry Brown (D) and Texas governor Rick Perry (R)- HPV vaccinations for 12 year olds. Perry has come under fire in the debates because of his bill that he signed to make mandatory vaccinations to young girls. Brown has always been under fire because he is an idiot to begin with, but now as of 10/9/2011 has not vetoed a bill that would allow 12 year old girls to get vaccinations without parents consent. Both are wrong to do what they did and/or are doing. They are taking away parental guidance. They are taking away the power of the parent to make decisions. Both sides say that have to do this because parents aren't taking the responsibility to do anything about this problem. That may be true, but who gives the right to the government then?

Ohio governor John Kasich (R)- Ohio Senate Bill #5. This bill takes away power of public employees to fight for their jobs. He is claiming it will help balance the budget. He is claiming public employees do not share in the responsibility in paying their fair share of pensions and health care. He is claiming public employees are not working as hard as they can. It started off as a way to control unions, but in the end it will not hurt unions. It will hurt those who work hard. It cuts public employees pay. This point alone will cause many who have worked to a certain level of income to not be able to pay for their homes. Many will fall into foreclosure and then send the housing market spiraling downward all over again in Ohio.

Barack Obama- Jobs Bill. Most of the jobs that would be created are government jobs. Who pays for government jobs? Taxpayers. And the second largest group that would benefit from these are those that build infrastructure. How does that help the economy? Sure, good highway and communication systems help businesses but they aren't the ones picking up the bill to pay for it. Governments DO NOT create jobs. Individuals do. Creating government jobs do not help the economy.

Barack Obama- Recovery Act. Millions of dollars given to "fix" infrastructure. This is one of the largest waste of money ever done by any government in the history of mankind. In case you can't see what is going on, to go straight from the sides streets, you have to turn right then go 500 yards and turn left, then come back to the same spot 500 yards back and then turn right. To get onto the side streets from the main street, you have to go 500 yards past the street you want, turn left, then come back 500 yards to the same spot you were in before and turn right. This is just one of the many projects that this money was given for. Who pays for it? Taxpayers and drivers trying to turn left.

Democratic controlled Congress, 2008- Health Care Bill. Enough said already on this?

They keep shoving things down our throats. It's time to shove it back somewhere else on them. Vote them all out in 2012!

The biggest jerk? Who could it be? Oh, there are many people from all walks of life, whether they are religious, political, CEOs, or "friends", who are great candidates to fill this title. Those on the left will of course come out with George W Bush as their first choice or perhaps Rush Limbaugh. Rush could be at least on the Top 20 list. Those on the right would pick Barack Obama (personally, he wouldn't make this list here unless it was the most stupidest people in the world). But only one person would top this list. Here is a list of some others before we reveal the Steve Martin Wannabe (My Life is Pathetic) Award.

If this was a world list, Ahmadinejad would top the list, followed closely by Kim Jong-Il. But stay in our borders and you get a different list of characters. Here is just a sample of who might be on the list along with a small story that allows them to make the list. In no particular order:

Charlie Sheen, actor who can't seem to not hit his wives, call people derogatory names, and then makes fun of all of his antics by appearing on Comedy Channel's roast.
Carlos Zambrano, pitcher Chicago Cubs who is only happy when the Cubs are winning--thank God that doesn't happen much-- but blames his teammates and blows his top when they lose. And then to top ot off, when they become so bad that they were in jeopardy of the Houston Astros actually passing them up he "retires". If the Yankees call him do you think he will "unretire"?
Chris Matthews, MSNBC news announcer. Can he ever say anything intelligent without any spin to it? The man won't let anyone ever finish a sentence before he asks them another one. And if you are a conservative, forget it.
Mike Brown, owner of the Cincinnati Bengals. Only people from that area would understand this pick.
Bawney Fwank, representative from Massachusetts, the real mastermind behind the housing market drop and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, but of course blames everyone else, especially republicans.
Solyndra, solar panel company who took $535 million dollars to go green and is now going bankrupt because of poor management, but to their defense, this was a program sponsored by the Obama administration.
New York Times, newspaper. The most one sided piece of garbage that has ever been printed. Not one story can stand alone based on the full truth. It allows terrorists to give their side of the story and allows them to be the hero.
John Kasich, Republican Governor from Ohio, thinks that cutting the pay of public workers like fire fighters, police officers and teachers will make a stronger public service system.
David C. Isaacs, former administrator of an alternative school. No matter what list is named, if it is negative, this guy will always make it.

Republicans want slavery? History lesson: the republicans ended slavery. Southern Democrats wanted to keep it. Now some in the GOP are a little too hard-core and want to take things away. Vote them out of office. But to say the things this man does is asinine.

#84 The Gate Syndrome

Watergate, Contragate, Whitewatergate, Travelgate, Monicagate, Chinagate, Katrinagate, Lawyergate, the whole Obama administrationgate. The last one was just made up on the spur of the moment but it works. Politics, no matter what party, has always been filled with scandals, controversies, and corruption. It's not new but over the last few decades the problem is getting bigger. One will notice that in the early years that not many scandals happened and then when you hit the 1970's, it's happens everywhere. Sure, there were less politicians back then (perhaps that's a good thing) and the numbers would naturally be smaller. Sure, we deal with more problems in the world today causing some to do things they would not normally do. But this rate is alarming and should make us all think that character in a candidate should be considered and not just their reputation. Charisma does not mean good character. A nice smile, large ears, swagger, articulation, former beauty queens do not equal good character. Doing the right thing, even in tough times shows good character. Doing the right thing so there will be no question about morals shows good character. Doing the right thing even though you get nothing out of it shows good character. Doing the right thing so others will not be hurt by your actions shows good character. However, if it is their private life, should they still be judged in character?

Here are the results from last month's poll: Should government leaders resign if they have been caught doing something questionable in their private life?

50%- yes, if it effects the rest of the country.
41%- depends on what the act was.
8%- yes, no matter what.
0%- no, it's their life.

Half of us say they need to go. Yet, there is only about a 10% change in Congress and that is mostly by retirements. These are the voters who do not understand that what they do always effects the rest of the country. They will keep on voting for the incumbent. Why do we keep electing them? Why do we keep putting people like Charkles Rangel (head of the House Ethics Committee) back in office? The man was convicted on 11 counts of being unethical! And he failed to report some of his income. Why Tom Daschle? The man evaded income taxes up to over $150,000 while voting to raise taxes when he was in office. Why do we keep putting people like Tom DeLay back in office? At least DeLay resigned. Rangel??? Censured by congress...whoopee! Jim Traficant back in 2002, not only refused to resign, he ran for office from his prison cell. Perhaps so he could save the taxpayers time.

A little less than half said they should resign if the action calls for it. These are the people who are afraid that their candidate will get caught or has been caught and are afraid to take a stand. The question then becomes, "what calls for it?". Answer: anything that only effects the other political party. Wrong answer.

Less than 10% said they need to resign no matter what. These are your hard core people who are fed up with government completely. Sounds like a good idea. What's good for the gander is good for the goose.

Not one person said they should stay in their public job. Which means we are all effected somehow by their actions. Or at least we feel we are effected. Maybe we are all sick of them.

#83 Gerry's kids

In 1812 the word "gerrymander" was coined when the Massachusetts legislature redrew the boundaries of state legislative districts to give an advantage to Governor Gerry's party, the Democrats. His plan was to group together most of the state's Federalists followers, allowing them to win in that district while his party, the Democratic-Republicans, took control of all the other districts in the state. The term eventually became part of world political vocabulary, and the practice is still in use today.

In other words your vote is manipulated by the party in power to give them the votes they need to be reelected. Most of the time if country areas are lumped together then it favors GOP. If cities are lumped together it favors DEMs. But look at some of the lines that are drawn to go out of the way to lump some of these together. Below are two examples. Iowa and Ohio for the geographically impaired. Iowa looks less confusing and looks to be more fair. But these are the proposed lines for the new redistricting by the Democratic Party. Registered republicans are lumped together so they only get one district while the other three will fall to the Democrats. Ohio is no better. If you look at some of the lines drawn there, you see counties split up to belong to certain districts. Boehner's district used to have a city of 70,000 in it. Now it has been moved to a more suburbanized area to give him more of an advantage. Pelosi has San Francisco. It's not split up at all. She gets 80% of the vote each time. After all, it is San Francisco.

The point is, we are tired of getting the same political figures each election. But the reason why we keep getting them is because we are being manipulated by them. Get rid of gerrymandering and make them fight for the real causes of America, not just for their own political gains.

#82 The Budget (for Dummies)

With the debt deadline and Congress' vacation time coming soon, our government has its hands tied. Not tied to the work it is supposed to be doing but tied to time. They have a plan, several of them, but no one wants to compromise. Since when is compromise a dirty word? Since political parties became promise makers instead of promise keepers. The answer to this whole situation is easy. Compromise. They have two plans for now, just meet each other in between. But just in case they can't figure that out here are some simple steps they should be taking to help the budget.

Step 1- Balance it (and then improve it)

Make an amendment to the Constitution. Sounds easy enough. Make the spending that one does equal to the amount of what one brings in as income. If you can't afford something, don't buy it. If it is not needed, don't buy it.
Even better than balancing the budget though; get a surplus. But not one that is short-termed that only relies on government subsidies, summer jobs, vice taxes, or erasing some of the bills that are on the ledger (which has been done in the past), but a real surplus. And maintain it!

Step 2- Make cuts

Where? All across the board. If the item is no longer needed then why pay for it? If you have a car that just sits on four blocks in your driveway, without tires being available, why have it? You pay insurance on it. It sits and rusts. It depreciates. Get rid of it. If there is something that the US no longer needs, then get rid of it. If it is needed but it is expensive, then try for a more efficient model.
Education, police protection, fire protection, military, hospitals, and some other things are quite necessary but have not been managed well. There can be cut backs in these fields without cutting quality like getting rid of higher paid management that is failing in their job. Stop the double dipping. Closing installations that are not productive or needed can be another cut. Such as, schools that do not have a certain number of students but still need a certain amount of classes to get a full education can be consolidated with other schools. Military bases in places like Germany are no longer needed. These should not be cut as much as everything else though.
Taking an equal amount from everything else across the board (but higher than the ones already listed) means all would be fair to all items on the budget. Some things no one wants to cut. And it would be difficult. But we didn't get here in debt so easily. It will take hard sacrifice to get back like they did in the 1950's after the Great Depression. Yes, even Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security. People have to know that creating your own savings accounts and taking your own responsibility is needed. You can't rely on everyone else for everything.
Stop giving money to "allies", especially if they are inconsistent. The heck with Pakistan. Stop making China the most favored nation in trade. Canada and Mexico should be our best of trading partners. No more free trade with countries that are not keeping it as fair as we are, like Japan did with cars in the 1990's. Get us out of the UN so we are no longer bound by their rules or dues.
No more pork barreling which is wasted money. Make lobbying illegal.
Stop borrowing money. Why is it that we are borrowing from a country that doesn't even believe in capitalistic ideas anyway?
Get an exit plan for the war(s). Start turning the responsibility over to those who we fought for.
Stop raising the debt ceiling. Raising it just gives you more room for excuses to keep spending money you don't have.

Step 3- Create revenue

Not so much by raising taxes, although a little is not going to hurt us. If we raise taxes by 1%, we will start to feel the squeeze of the serpent (Don't tread on me). But a measly 0.1% will not be felt so much. And with 150 million in the work force, that still could add up some revenue.
Close all of the loopholes in the tax codes. Revise the codes completely. Having a flat, fair tax will pay for a lot of things. And no one can complain about it. The liberals can't say that only the top 1% gets all the breaks and the conservatives can't say that those living off of welfare get a free lunch.
Stop importing more than you export. If an American company goes to China to build a sweatshop, stop importing their product. If an American wants to travel to China to get it, fine. There are things like duty taxes when they return. If they don't want to support Americvan business then they should pay. A free market does not mean we have to allow it into our country. It only means our people have the right to create products and buy products on their own. If they want to buy it by mail order, then you can raise the taxes on that method of payment like the USPS does. If they buy it over the Internet, then make them claim it on their taxes.

Step 4- Make Congress accountable

Wait a minute. Oh yes, they are accountable for it. Then make them pay for it.
Congress says that if they can't get the debt situation controlled by August 2 then social security checks won't go out. Our military won't get paid. Well, one thing they should do if they can't compromise is don't pay their own paychecks. That should also be an amendment. If the budget can not be balanced, then the first paycheck to be cut is Congress'. That will make them compromise and work faster.

It's been said here before and shown how the party that claims to represent everyone, allows personal freedom, and discriminates against no one is just as dictatorial as Hitler, Mussolini, an especially Stalin. But what is worse are those who support these people, especially certain unions. The NEA (National Education Association) has just endorsed the re-election of President Obama.

Sure, everyone knew that was coming. There is no chance that this group would ever endorse any kind of Conservative candidate with all of their leaders being who they are. That's not the problem. They endorsed him faster than any other candidate they have endorsed in history. That is not the problem. Giving money to his campaign is not the problem. But how they are giving him money is.

Teachers are now being forced into giving part of their dues to a candidate that only a little more than half support. Even the liberal organization itself voted 72-28 to support him. Is this fair? Do teachers have to be forced into paying for a man's campaign that one does not agree with? Shouldn't there be an opt out policy like when you pay your taxes?

Isn't the NEA and groups like this supposed to be examples of what they preach? $32 million dollars that could go into our schools. $32,000,000! Why would an incumbent need to raise money to be re-elected? People know who this man is already. It's not like no one knows what he stands for. But the NEA, those who are worried about education, are taking $32 million dollars out of educators' pockets when a lot of this money could be used by teachers to enhance their rooms, to spend it on paper, computer programs, hands-on lessons, pencils, and oh yeah...books. But alas, the liberal agenda speaks up again out of both sides of their mouths.

The question is, where are all of the liberal, freedoms for individuals, live and let live, people? Where is the outcry from this?

If this was coming from a large corporate slave driving business owner, you know, one of the top 1%, and he forced his employees to give $10 to Donald Trump to run for president, then the aforementioned groups would be at the headquarters of that corporation protesting and perhaps threatening boycotts, lawsuits and everything else. But, alas, the conservatives who are engulfed in unions due to necessity and force have to shut up and give in to this encroachment.

The new political activists of the GOP are calling themselves the TEA Party. They are not an actual political party and should not be misconstrued as THE movement of conservatism. Just in case you have been hiding under a rock, TEA stands for Taxed Enough Already. With a few small weird exceptions (apparently) one thing most of us have in common is no one wakes up in the morning and says "I would loved to be taxed some more today". Where we disagree on this issue is "how much do we need to be taxed?" and "what do we do with the taxes once they are collected?".

Here are the results of last month's poll: What is your view on taxes?

30% say We are taxed too much. We need to remove some. Agreed to a certain extent. Where do you make the cuts? No matter what you do someone is now going to get hurt because of it. Perhaps making proportionately equal cuts across the board would work. The people who said this are the higher-middle class and maybe even the upper class. All they see is their own profit and refuse to see that some need help. These are your hard-core, right-winged conservative Republicans. The TEA party.
25% say We are taxed fairly but most isn't needed. This seems to be the most logical answer. It puts a check on government spending and at the same time should provide for the community as a whole. These are your Independents, centrists-right leaning conservative Democrats, and majority of Republicans.
15% say We are taxed a lot but most is needed. This seems to be the most compassionate. This is probably where most liberals fall into place. But that only shows that liberals do not think all the way through. They think that spending is one way of fixing things.
10% say We aren't taxed enough. Please prove this to be correct. When most lower-middle class family's houses are now in jeopardy if being foreclosed due to property tax, how can raising taxes higher be helpful in any way? The people who said this are those who are hurting and feel the only way to get out of any mess is by someone helping them pay. These are your far left liberals, crazed maniacs like Dennis Kucinich.
5% say We aren't really taxed a lot compared to most places so it doesn't bother me. These are people who think they know it all or who have been to Europe and think they have a better way of taxing people. In reality, they do not know much of anything.
0% say We are taxed fairly and all is needed. Zero percent? Enough said? Read more below.
15% say Other. Explain.

Not one person said we are taxed fairly AND all is needed. We all (assuming the 15% who said "other" are mentally stable) know that taxes actually do good for the community. It keeps government running. It accomplishes certain feats of what our Declaration says we are entitled to, such as providing our common defense and promotes a general welfare. Notice it does not say uncommon defense or every welfare. Taxes are not supposed to used for unusual cases or to give everyone a perfect life. They are collected to created a security for the community/state as a whole. But some people think they are to be used to provide everything for everyone. No. That is called mooching. That is why 55% understand that many of the taxes are not needed. They provide an unnecessary security blanket for those who want to live off others. When these don't fall into place this is where certain taxes can help.

The TEA party started out as way of protesting the Obama way of viewing economics. But as of lately they may have gone to the dark side and lost compassion for the rest of us. Please do not group all conservatives with this group.

#79 A Matter of Time

So many thoughts of anger are going through our heads. So many things we could that could be considered inappropriate to say out loud, but we are all thinking it. Anyway, "Next!".

Yes. It may offend some to say that. But the world has to understand that all dictators have to go. All of those who threaten the peace and safety of every human being on this earth must go. All of those who prey on the fears of the world and who think they are above international law must cease to be in power. All of those who try and control and who think they can get away with anything need to be proven wrong.

Congratulations to President Obama for giving the correct orders of the assassination. Congratulations to President Bush for having another nemesis of his administration fall. Congratulations to the American people (and to some of the world as well) for justice being served. And most of all, congratulations to our troops for a job well done and for staying the course.

Note to all of the above in the picture, it's just a matter of time. Whether it's done by international law or by your own people, your time is limited. Hope and best wishes to the people who are being controlled by extremists/dictators and to those who are struggling to gain their freedom. Democracy will be yours one day.

On this immortalized symbol are the following words: "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

These words over the decades have stood for freedom from political tyranny, freedom from religious oppression, freedom from economic slavery and freedom for those who feel the need to start over in life. They don't necessarily mean you will get them but they do stand for these things. In the same way that the Declaration doesn't necessarily mean you will have freedom, but the opportunity to have freedom. This is not to say that we should not uphold these ideals. By all means these words are etched in stone and therefore should be "etched in stone". Our laws should make way for the paths of freedom so that the world will have a beacon of light to look to. So that leads to the argument who do these words speak to today?

This is a very controversial issue because it homes everywhere. We are all in one way, shape, or form, unless you are considered a full blooded Native American, an immigrant whether our heritage is of European, African, Asian, or Latino descent. We are all from families who came here either by choice or force. It doesn't matter if our families are directly descendants from the Mayflower, the Adelaide, or the Illegal Super Highway, we are all from a different place. Please keep in mind that immigration is not just about Mexicans coming across the border.

Here are the results from the last poll: What is the biggest problem about immigration?

23% said paying for peoples' needs. The biggest perceived problem deals with money. Probably about 25 years ago this would have been less of an issue but since the US has been having economic difficulties lately, more and more would choose this as the main problem. Pure assumptions tell us that the reason why there is a problem is because the only way that certain needs are paid for are by the dreaded tax. If people can hardly pay for their own family due to taxes then why do they have to pay for someone else's family, especially one that is not counted as American? Education and health care take up the most of these costs. And of course these are tax-paid-for privileges. They do have some points. If we start to pay for people who are not citizens then where does it stop? Do we start paying for Canadians? (tongue in cheek) And these are, whether you like to admit it or not, privileges, not guarantees of our basic rights; life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. However, on the other hand, show some compassion to those who are here to try and make their lives better like most immigrants.
19% said loss of American culture. As soon as this is solidified then this may be an argument. What is the American culture? Food? Perhaps fried chicken and apple pie are the closest to this since even hamburger is German. Religion? Do you mean Christianity? Perhaps at one time it was, but even then Christianity started in the Middle East. Language? Although English is the most widely used and most commonly accepted it is not the official language. Economic prosperity? Isn't that what all cultures want? Sports? Well, maybe with baseball, football, and basketball being pretty much American-made. Clothing? Music? These are world-wide trends but maybe the trends start here. Two cars, a house, 1.25 kids, and a dog? No. That used to be the American dream, not American culture, before liberalism killed it that is. Now if you said, our laws, then that is actually close. Although we do borrow many ideas from the ancient Greeks, Romans, and the British. If you said customs and traditions, then that is perhaps the closest. But, again, some of those have been borrowed and modified. If you consolidate traditions and laws then you may get the American culture. And that is what those who answered this way probably feel. Fit in or get out. "You came here to be part of America since it apparently was better than yours, so why are you trying to change it into the culture you chose to leave"? That is a good point.
14% said loss of American jobs. Very important. But only one thing can save American jobs...American CEOs.
4% said free movement of terrorists. True! But that means every border, by air, land, and sea. Shouldn't this one be ranked higher? Paul Rodriguez said once in a comedy routine, "We're not here to kill you. We just want your jobs."
0% said diseases. This is deceptive. It doesn't mean people aren't worried, but it is not the biggest worry. Plus, with the health care in this country and the scientific research we have most of these diseases would not effect us like other countries, swine flu (H1N1) as an example.
0% said drugs and smuggling. This was a shocker. No one is worried about illegal drugs? Aren't illegal drugs more dangerous than illegal immigrants? And no, they are not interchangeable.
9% said other. This one never makes sense. What would be "other" in this case? And why would you pick it?
28% said all of the above. Maybe this is where drugs comes in. People are worried about it but they are equally worried about all of this.

Bottom line is immigration is natural, and needed. Don't get mad at Mexicans for wanting a better life. Plus, you can't tell them to go back home. They were here first. Most Mexicans are Native Americans who were colonized byu the Spanish. Americans are no better than anyone that comes into this country, except for terrorists. Immigration is where new ideas come together to get the best of life. There is no easy answer to this issue. It seems like all answers will have some sort of negative impact on some people. But even though we are a nation of immigrants and we are all illegal as compared to the Native American, we live in different times. Precautions are now needed to protect everyone who wants to have a better life. The laws we have in place need to enforced but with compassion. Our borders need more protection by the National Guard. Businesses should have harsher penalties for hiring illegal aliens over American citizens (but that won't happen as long as we want $50/hr). The question becomes who is legal and who isn't. No one really has a problem with those who come into the country by going through the correct process, which has been a law since 1790, even though that law was racist, it still was a law.

Those who are here to help America can stay. Those who are here to change us and/hurt us can use the revolving door, but only one side of it. And if the Federal government won't do it, then more power to the states.

Question: If you have $10 in your pocket and the shirt you really want is $15, what should you do?
Answer: Find another shirt. Or save for the future so you can afford it.

But what do most people do? They put it on their charge card, thereby setting off a chain of events that basically in the end destroy any chance of ever living free from the control of greedy and heartless leviathans.

What does the government do? They buy the shirt and stick the bill on others who really don't want the shirt to begin with. We become their charge card. The problem? There is no limit to the charge. They just just keep raising the limit. The amount of debt keeps on raising.

Sure spending total amounts are always going to go up. You have more people and things to deal with then you spend more. But if the percentage as a whole keeps growing and no one makes any cuts then spending becomes irresponsible. If a family does this kind of spending the repo man comes and collects; the bill collector calls and harasses you; your credit for future loans is ruined; people have to file for bankrupt, etc. But the government does it and they get away with it. And it has gotten worse in the last two years!

Every chart on this website http://www.usgovernmentspending.com/charts shows that spending has gotten worse in the last two years. People complained about Bush and the deficit after 8 years of "deficit reduction" by President Clinton (umm...who did a little voodoo economics to get there, but let's give credit), But if you look closely at all the charts on the site then the years of reduction in the Clinton years came after the GOP gained control of Congress in 1994 and the years of increase during the Bush years came in 2006 after the DEMs won Congress back. And has now gotten worse in the 2 years that the DEMs have controlled both the White House and Congress. But then people will argue that President Bush spent too much on wars. Blah, blah, blah, that is another argument. Remember we didn't start this fight on terrorism but we have to finish it.

And now President Obowma wants to raise the deficit ceiling, just like your credit card company does every once in awhile. Does anyone know what a ceiling is for?

#76 Fist Bumps and a Swagger

Two things besides bowing to foriegn "dignitaries" and making excuses for American intervention that President Obama is known for are is fist bumps and swagger. These two things don't make a president. Perhaps image isn't everything, sorry Sprite. Like a parent who is afraid to raise their child correctly by acting more like their friend than a parent, he should stand up and take action. But the problem is when he does he gets ambushed from both sides.

It's not so easy is it Mr. Obama? After getting angry with former President Bush about getting us involved with wars in Iraq and Afghanistan (he and Hillary that is) http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/1552715/Hillary-and-Obama-vote-to-cut-off-Iraq-funding.html, now all of a sudden they say it is okay to get involved with Libya. Why the change? Both had a dictator. Both had groups wanting independence and both defied the United Nations international laws. So why the sudden change? Perhaps they are finally seeing that sometimes you can not deal with a dictator.

What is the difference? One that President Bush went after attacked us (bin laden). The other we tried to negotiate with for 6 months (hussein). We tried to work with the UN for six months. But hardly anyone had enopughguts to do anything about it. Remember appeasement? It didn't work in the 1930's. It won't work now. Thank you to all the British, Italians, Australians, Japanese, and Spaniards by the way for sticking up for freedom. This one (quadaffi) we did in 31 days. There is no exit strategy; another argument from the left against President Bush, and the leading words coming from the horse's (or something related to a horse) mouth itself. The speech tonight really gave us nothing new to learn or cleared anything up.

However, with all that said, the President is actually in the right here. Bombing Libya is a correct action but it needs to be more if it is going to be effective. Thumbs down to the Republican-held Congress for arguing about using military action. The Constitution gives him full range of the military for 60 days then he has to ask for more permission. It's called being commander-in-chief. But unlike Bill Clinton versus Somalia, or Bosnia, or Rwanda, or Kenya, or anywhere else he might have hit and failed as he let genocides of thousands of people to continue because it took months perhaps years to even make a decision on what to do and then waste opportunities to hit when needed, it should be more like what Bush said: http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/blbush-quote.htm. A little history on unions. Back in the days when the Industrial Revolution took hold in Britain and worked its way across the big pond to the United States a new breed of workers emerged as some powerful people. The French called them the bourgeoisie or the nouveaux riche. Owners of factories, the entrepreneurs of the time, found ways of making it rich. Some would say this came at the expense of others while some would say it came for the necessity of economic revival. In either case, many factories made their people work in dangerous conditions in which limbs may have been mamed, long-termed illnesses could be traced back to, and even sudden deaths, and all for low wages and long hours. So in order to help free the worker, the proletariat, from such atrocities unions were created to change the conditions; strength in numbers. A great idea. The power of the union got the worker better conditions, labor laws, and higher wages.

But along came a problem. Unions didn't know where to stop. The unionized proletariat over the decades demanded for more and more. Owners were forced to give into the demands. Bad workers were protected by senioirty or tenure. If anyone crossed the picket lines they became targets for violent acts and discrimination. They were called scabs.

What happened because of this? Companies moved across the seas for cheaper labor and less arguments. All of your computer questions about the American company Microsoft are being handled by those in India. Ford Mustang is being made in Mexico. Levi Straus jeans are made in Indonesia. The union had pushed for so much that companies got up and ran, both sides became pinheads. The companies that choose to stay still have to pay the highest wages in the world to their workers. But they did stay. These are true patriots!

And now this has spilled over into the public worker sector, espcially police, fire departments and teachers. Ohio and Wisconsin are leading the way. Ohio's bill is called SB5 or Senate Bill #5, which is over 260 pages long and over 9000 lines, (http://www.legislature.state.oh.us/BillText129/129_SB_5_PS_N.html) and would take away the worker's right to negotiate the hard-fought-for safe working conditions, higher wages, and labor laws. And base everything on merit. How can you measure the fireman? "How many people did you save in a fire lately? None? You're fired!" Same with police officers and yes, even teachers. If everything was on an even playing field and the work was actually safe for everyone then maybe it would be okay to do something like this. But this allows management to pick and choose their favorites over others.

The governor claims it would help with the budget and has nothing to do with taking power away form the union. But in reality the only thing it really will do is destroy families. Pay cuts will happen without power to negotiate, even if one side would be willing to give up everything to help. Houses will go into foreclosure and the economy will get worse.

So, the union may have gotten too much power over the years, but what the worker has earned should not be taken away from them, whether they got it by power of the union or not. A good friend posted the following on his site and reminds us all about all government control:

"We must close union offices, confiscate their money and put their leaders in prison. We must reduce workers' salaries and take away their right to strike." - Adolf Hitler, May 2, 1933

Kind of odd how the GOP was mad at the DEMs for pushing an unwanted healthcare yet are pushing this unwanted bill. Shame on them.

Does anyone see the frightening similarity between Joe Biden (the Vice President) and Walter (the old man from Jeff Dunham's comedy routine)? It is almost surreal to compare the two.

Both not only have the same facial features except for the fact that Walter has a better looking scalp and skin tone but they also have the same mannerisms and characteristics.

They are old
They are cranky
They are both sarcastic and blame everyone else
They say the wrong things at the wrong time
They are both trash talkers unfit for children to hear
They are both full of hot air and/or gas
Some of their friends are terrorists
Neither is smarter than the piece of wood Walter is made from
Neither is the main character in their fields of occupation
They are both pulled by strings by a puppet master
The only difference is both are comedians but Walter does it on purpose

Hero: a person of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his/her brave deeds and noble qualities.

Terrorist: One who engages in the unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.

A man, Julian Assange from Australia, had been telling secrets on his website called Wikileaks. But the question that needs to be answered is why is he doing this. Some information claims he is doing this to make governments open up and be more trustworthy. Some think he is doing it to promote freedom of speech. But some of the secrets he is letting out is not about trustworthiness but national security. And freedom of speech should have limitations, e.g., derogatory words, harmful situations to innocent people. In Australia he grew up as one of those jerks who try and hack into computer programs. Then later on in life he became a computer programmer himself. This tells us a thing or two about him. First of all he doesn't care about human life. Hackers think they are out there hurting governments or rich industrialists and capitalists such as Bill Gates. But in the end, it's the little guy who gets hurt. The CEO of any business can afford changes in their lifestyle and companies but the average person if their computer gets hacked into has to pay for it and probably can't afford to keep getting new stuff. There is a name for these hackers; mulus gluteus maximus. And Julian is the biggest. Secondly, he doesn't care about people in general. The charges he is originally being arrested for by Sweden is rape. He, of course, has denied it but he has been on the run and living in many countries over the years, so apparently he himself has something to hide.

If you look at the definitions the US can not get him for treason, although it may be said he is giving aid to the enemy. Since he is not an American citizen we can not try him as a traitor, although Australia can for some of the things he has done to them. But he sure fits the description for treason when it says "aids the enemy". And since he is not a US citizen but does fit the description of a traitor, it means we could call him a spy. Spies who are caught deserve the same punishment as treason. Both are despicable and threaten the security of the average citizen. He is no way shape or form fits the description of a hero. What noble qualities does he hold? What brave thing has he done? As soon as he posts things, he goes into hiding. So for those who said he was an international hero need to educate themselves. For those who say they don't care, you should feel ashamed because if he hurts one innocent person then her hurt two too many. If the memos found were just about leaders calling each other names, then who cares. But if he lets out secret missions or the whereabouts of troops, a la Geraldo, 1991, then we all need to care.

The worse part of this is not that one man has done this but that many copy cats will now try and do the same thing. Each one will push the limit farther to where eventually no one will be safe. It will start a new trend that will not stop because the Internet is an easy way to hide behind your true identity and no one can really be caught for what they say and will feel no accountability.

If he feels like he is encouraging freedom of speech or the press then he has to understand that with these come responsibility and duty to stick to the truth and to protect the innocent. He has not this. He is an international terrorist and should be tried as one.

#72 More Emptiness

The same still holds true. Nothing they promise (if it would be a positive thing) will they ever follow through with. Most of Obama's campaign promises he has not been able to get passed. Not so easy is it Mr. President? You can't blame the GOP like he and his dominions want to do. He had two years of a Democratic-controlled Congress. The Senate even had a anti-filibuster amount at one point. Even one time they had an illegal vote to beat the filibuster. The House almost had the 2/3 needed to override anything. But that is not the point of this paper.

#71 The Pendulum Shifts

Each election the winning side claims that "the people have spoken". So what did the people say in this year's election? Here are the results from last month's poll: What was this year's GOP landslide election reflecting?

(50%) The Democratic Party as a whole
(18%) The Tea Party movement
(12%) A Conservative movement as a whole
(12%) A combination of things
(6%) President Obama's policies only
(0%) The resurgence of the Republican Party
(0%) A huge coincidence
(0%) Other

From the looks of things it is clear to see some what had been said. First and foremost, it was no coincidence. This election actually did say something, as opposed to the 2008 election which was basically about being historic instead of policy. Although some would say it was about anti-Bush policies. If that was the case then why was the man re-elected in 2004 to begin with? People hated him then too. No it was more on the lines of electing the first black President or having the first woman Vice-President. Either case is not a good reason to vote either for or against anyone. Actually neither candidate was the best choice for either party. It should have been Huckabee versus Clinton (and even then a third party should have won) but the American people have shown their ignorance before. No, this election really did speak out. There was a change that actually did happen this time around, real change, not just promised change. But the change had nothing to do with the Republican Party, which is probably dead in the water for the most and as a reminder was predicted in 2008; http://ideasoftim.blogspot.com/2008/11/27-end-of-republic.html. This was definitely a move towards the middle and maybe even back over to the conservative side (says 30%), but even more, as a move towards the free market. The Tea Party, even though is perhaps hated more than the Republican Party, is now a driving force in American politics. Whatever they do it is good for the future necuase it has told politicans to shape up or get shipped out. This movement could even be the death of the Democratic Party. The poll shows that 50% said it was directed at the Democratic Party. Of course who could blame anyone for hating the Pelosi Party anyway? Keep in mind if she was from anywhere but San Francisco she would be out of a job.

Point being in all of this mess is that the people are tired of the far left from setting their agenda that is not mainstream America. Freedom is one thing but chaos is another. What the "left" (for lack of a better word) has done is create a chaotic state that now needs to watched. Passing health care no one wants, trying to stop real tax cuts from American citizens, and putting so much pork into the budget that we stink of fried bacon has now caused more resentment of and more stagnation in our government than ever before. We are now by chance looking at a government shut down by Christmas. But maybe that is a good thing.

#70 The Mosque

(84%) This is America. All religions are tolerated but the builders should have more sensitivity and not build it.

Seems like there are only two options. Both are based upon religious freedom in America. No one is saying that a mosque can not be built. But it does look like what Americans want is at least some thought process to go into building one before it actually happens. Sure we should have religious freedom. Even God Himself says you have freedom to choose. (But He also says that a nation that turns to Him will have their land healed and thrive).

The question probably should have asked SHOULD a mosque be built. The answer would probably be more towards 99% to say no. Although we do have religious freedom in this country we should have sensitivity to those who are still hurting. Should the Japanese be able to build a museum dedicated to kamikazes at Pearl Harbor? No. This would not be a smack in the face to Japan. It would be consideration for those 3000 who lost their lives on the brink of World War II. We couldn't stop them building one if they had the money. We do have mostly a free market in the United States which is protected by our laws like religion. The big difference would be this: Japan would not build a thing like that due to the fact that they are our allies and are sensitive to the American people. Japan lost men that day too. Yes, there were Muslims killed that day from all over the world. But it happened here on our soil. That makes the United States the one who should make the decision.

Should we be hostile to Islamic countries because of this? No. But not many Islamic countries have proven, like Japan, to be a complete ally. So until then, no mosque should be built on Ground Zero. Please find another place less sensitive to build.

#69 Referendum

It doesn't matter what all the pundits at MSNBC think, this election was all about referendum. It was aimed at all the types of policies this administration has had:

President Obama's "hope" and "change" policies. These did not turn out the way those promises were laid out to the people. Imagine that, a Democratic president lying to get votes. Even his wife had to take a step back and tell the people these things aren't coming fast enough. But what was the rationalization behind it? Did they actually say, "well, we didn't realize we were in over our heads"? Of course not; they now claim they never meant the change would be fast. But isn't that what promises are for? Isn't that what people wanted? Now all they are left with is the hope. But the hope now is that he will not be reelected.
President Obama's foreign policies. We tried to be nice to Islamic extremists by changing the name of the war. We tried to smooth over relations with Muslim nations by saying we aren't a Christian nation. We tried to buddy up to European allies by saying we are too arrogant of a people. We tried to show respect to cultures by bowing to every leader out there. We tried to be closer to Mexico by suing the state of Arizona for trying to protect its borders from gang wars. What did all of this get us? More threats, bombs on planes, and no better looking in the eyes of the world than when he first started. Now of course all the "we" you see above actually means "he", but since he is chief of state and a symbol our our nation, it has to translate into "we". Therefore "we" get punished for his ideas.
President Obama's domestic policies. Trying to fool the people that he gave us all tax breaks when he didn't. Sure, most people got $20-30 extra a paycheck in 2009 starting in April. But two things people need to know about this. One, how far will $20 get you a week? An extra trip to McDonald's to get the family value meals? Or one half tank of gas? And two, the tax code changed that year and most people were paying higher federal taxes at the end of the year. So in essence we paid more. The Bush tax cuts were real. We all got $600-1200 back in one lump sum with no higher taxes at the end of the year. And what did Obama do? He tried to repeal them and roll all of them back claiming they only helped the rich. Repealing Bush's policies on abortion and stem cell research. And of course the big one, the health care forced down our throats without any compromise or care for what the average citizen wants.
President Obama's military policies. Trying to close Guantanamo Bay and bring the terrorists that tried to kill all of us onto our own soil so they could have a better chance of accomplishing their feat. Repealing don't ask, don't tell. Homosexuals serving? So what! But that opens the door for ridicule and may even hurt some of our soldiers who are already serving. Firing one of the head military leaders in Afghanistan for having an opinion.
President Obama's minions. The leaders: Joe, Nancy, Harry, Bawney, Al, Rahm, and Robert and the late Teddy. The Followers: Charlie, Barbara, another Al, and another Robert (now deceased). Notice oddly enough the name Hilary did not show up on this list. Out of all the ones whom he surrounded himself with, Hilary was lesser of all evils and almost looked middle-ground.

The GOP won handily and although it may not be due to what they stand for it definitely was due to what they stand up against. And some liberals claim this election was not a referendum on their policies. Even the master of disaster thinks it was something else

However, four of these women tend to slide to the left and/or down the political spectrum. Two of them slide right off the page while the one remaining is normal and speaks with a clear way of thinking.

Anyway, those to the left, trying not to mention any names, (whoops, maybe that can't be done), speak about tolerance of all people, love and joy, and freedom and equality for all people. Yet when it came time to free Iraqis and Afghans, these two said we had no business being there. So when Bill O'Reilly went on their show and gave his opinion about the Mosque being built near ground zero the two hypocrites were at in again. They stormed off the show after hearing someone else's opinion. What about tolerance and freedom of speech? Isn't that what liberalism is all about? What is it was a Christian church that was being built on a deadly Muslim site? Heck a Christian anything being built anywhere? What would these two freedom fighters do then? Odds are they wouldn't fight for it.

This is the problem with liberalism. The term should be synonymous with hypocritical. They claim to be about freedom and tolerance, yet when someone disagrees with them they refuse to listen and claim the other side is mentally and ethically wrong. Look in the mirror, please.

#66 Drawing the Line

Paper #64 has a comment from a reader that poses a very serious, profound, and interesting question about the Mosque being built in New York City: "Where do you draw the line? Two blocks? Three blocks? Four blocks? 20 blocks? How far away is far enough? Where is the line drawn for religious freedom? And, who's church/temple/synagogue is next?"

This is a fantastic question because it not only deals with the Mosque but can be asked about many things: abortion, gay marriage, taxes, health care, war, etc. Where do you draw the lines on any of these?

With abortion the question becomes when does life begin and when does it become murder? If life begins at conception then any act by human hands that stops the life from growing makes it a murder. But if life begins at the babies first breath then it's only a fetus- a non functioning life form. With gay marriage, the question becomes at what point does marriage need defining? If gays can not be allowed to marry, then human rights may be being violated. But if they are allowed to marry then that opens doors up to other marriages. With taxes, the question becomes who are the rich? If $250,000 is the cut off then those living in Hawaii and Florida (let's not forget Hollywood) are doomed. With war, the question becomes when is it justified? If it is never justified then everyone involved with warfare is a criminal and all of those who have fought and died meant nothing. But if it is justifiable then perhaps more are needed to stop abuse by dictators.

What a fantastic question! It not only in itself is an enigma but opens up all kinds of endless inquiries. If you really thought about it you may come to the conclusion that there may be no answer to it. Oh, but there is an answer. The answer to where do you draw the line is "at the beginning".

People are afraid of drawing the line, any lines. But that has been the problem of society since it's creation. God drew the original lines for us. But being human (irresponsible, self-indulgent, arrogant, wicked...see Paper #68) we erase those lines and redraw them with every new generation. Here is the problem with this action. If a line is being redrawn then all moral standards are lost. If the line keeps moving away from moral standards then it will eventually disappear. This leads to a chaotic society which will implode upon itself unless checked. Whose moral standards? Don't fool yourself. God laid down the original morality system. We (as the human race as a whole, not individuals) are the ones who have changed it and have done so many rotten things that we are no longer shocked by what the world does. We are the ones who have misinterpreted the will of God and went to wars in His name. We are the ones who have moved the barriers of right and wrong to the end that no one knows the difference anymore. So when someone finally reminds us of the original system we socially stone him. Thomas Hobbes claimed that man is naturally selfish and if left unchecked by government he will destroy himself. He was mostly right. man has become so wicked that if it wasn't for the morally correct in this world then man would have destroyed himself already. He has been put in check by God. God is the original government.

The line to be drawn is at the beginning. The line in the case of the Mosque is: it should never have been even an idea to be built at Ground Zero. One block away may be all it takes to settle the issue but it should never have been conceived in the first place.

Today's generation is a self-indulgent, arrogant, irresponsible, and wicked generation. It's no wonder why the US elected someone who is the epitome of the times as their leader.

Self-indulgence

Are we satisfied with the American dream anymore? Has the happy marriage, one home, two kids, one dog, middle class idealistic civilization disappeared? Yes. Why? Because no one knows how to be satisfied anymore. We all feel like we have to be better than everyone else. If someone gets a new car, we feel like we need a new car. If someone gets a new home, we feel like we need a new home. If someone gets a huge 60 inch flat screen, HD-DVR ready TV, then we feel like we need one. And if we can't get if by ourselves we think we still deserve it so others should get it for them. That leads to arrogance. This is a policy of the Obama administration. Economic prosperity must be spread around. Get what you can get, but if you can't then get it from someone else- neosocialism, i.e., communistic capitalism.

Arrogant

There is an old saying of how to live right we need to spread some JOY everywhere: J-Jesus first, O-others second, Y-yourself last. An American value used to be that we help each other and stick together and one way of doing that is by sacrificing every once in awhile to help your neighbor. Today it is more like we are spreading FOIL: F-Fun for me, O-Opinions of mine are most important, I-I am more important, L-Life revolves around me. And this turns into people ditching responsibilities. Another policy of the Obama administration. If one remembers correctly, when asked about abortion during the debate at Saddleback, Obama said it was above his pay grade.

Irresponsible

If life revolves around me then I don't have to do anything. People should do things for me and if others are the ones doing things then if something goes wrong then it must be someone else's fault. And if I can do no wrong then anything I do is okay, even wrong-doings. And that makes us wicked. Yet, another policy of the Obama administration. With all the above taking place, that leaves no measurements or morals for right and wrong. That leaves chaos. Chaos causes people to be wicked. This is just what all democrats are pushing for and they can't even see it. They have no moral measurement since they are afraid to use any measurement and chaos is inevitable. #64 Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Stupidity

Three things we hold dear in this country are words that Thomas Jefferson pinned in our Declaration of Independence. We have certain rights that are not to be taken away from us and those are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But apparently this president is still focused on change. And this time he wants to change happiness to stupidity and change Independence to dependence. The Constitution later goes to explain what these rights are to Americans. And two of them are freedom of religion and speech. But there are limitations to these things because without limitations then people would abuse their freedom and perhaps overstep their boundaries. And if someone oversteps these boundaries it is up to our government to put a stop to it. That is what a Republic is. And the leader of that republic, being chief of state, should uphold the values of the majority of the people. Again, that is what a republic is. If the republic is not held true to its origin then it is doomed.

In the middle of this republic is brewing a controversy about the limitations of the freedom of religion. Should people have the right to worship anyway they want? Yes, for the most. As long as it does not hurt others would be the limitation. If it involves human sacrifice then it becomes wrong. If it becomes a vehicle for hate crimes that leads to violence then it should be at least watched. If it wants to spit in the face of 3000 people who died and build a "community center" right on the spot where it fellow religious family members murdered them, then the action should be stopped. By whom? The government! But what does our leader say and do?

If one learns from history:
1) Islam was started as a conquering religion. Muhammad himself won his title by conquering others in Arabia. After conquering Jerusalem in the late 600's AD, the Dome of the Rock was built on the site (or at the least very close to) of the Temple Mount. What happened to this area since? Constant war.
2) The average nation usually only lasts 75-100 years in existence. Why do they fall apart? Most self-destruct from the inside due to diversity and/or dissension and then are conquered by an outside force. The US is now officially 234 years old (1776) but by our law of the Constitution we are only 221 (1789). Either way we are over the average.
3) The Constitution- Amendment #1 says Congress can not establish any religion or stop it. It does not say the people can or can not! If majority says no, then it should be NO.
4) This has nothing to do with democrats or republicans. More than likely Joe Lieberman does not want this thing to go up. It has to do with the direction of our country. Piece by piece the American way of life has been taken apart because of loose interpretations of laws and customs. As it may be true that our laws and government are not specifically "Christian" in words, the principles behind them and the motivations are.

Results: 9-11 is just a precursor.

The president is elected every four years and is limited with two terms. Ones who have been there the longest know exactly how to hold things up. Maybe it is time to create some term limits for the moronic intellectuals.

#62 Democratic Liberal Socialist Party

Comment number one on Paper #64 poses a good thought. What is the difference between a socialist/communist and a liberal?

Liberal does not equal communism. The left has two sides (faces) to it. They disagree on government control in reality. Liberals actually believe in so much freedom that no government should actually be involved, hence allowing gay marriage, murder of infants, euthanasia, anti-war rhetoric (even when needed), freeing criminals, letting terrorists have rights even after they have committed mass killings, talking openly to Kim Jong-il, Chavez, Castro and all the like. But in the end that leads to chaos. It just hasn't gotten there yet to prove it (thanks be to conservatives). Communism focuses more on economics. Perfect communism as Karl Marx thought would eventually lead us into utopia, but the Stalins of this world changed his idea and instead of having true equality, he had forced equality. This face of the left has bent so far left they became right-winged to the extreme (picture another Marx, e.g., Groucho, saying "if I hold you any closer I'll be behind you" and you'll get the meaning). So you can have liberalism without communism and you can have communism without liberalism. But neither are good to have. Both undermine the scriptures and mock the face of God. Both would say that the pledge of allegiance should not have God in it and both would allow abortion, one would allow it to happen and the other would force it to happen. A huge problem is they use each other as allies and when you have some who believe in both such as Harry Reid and company then you get what we have today in congress.

Maybe there is more to it than just left-wing and right-wing politics. Maybe it is at least a two-fold process. This chart to help us understand how American politics work and how we got here in today's time. Maybe the political spectrum should not be linear but axial (quadrants). The more you go to the right you have those who believe in more government control based on holding onto traditions and laws to keep order, not based on secret police and censorship per se. The more you go to the left you have those you are more for individuality and change, not based on morality and protection of freedom. The farther up you go you have those who believe in a free market with less regulations and the farther down you go you have those who believe in controlling the market. So those who are on the right bottom quadrant believe in controlling everything. Those in the top left quadrant run amok.

And by this you can see that Obama is just as "centered" as President Bush was but more for a controlled market, thereby making him closer to a communist than a pure democrat which (and this is hated to say it) Bill Clinton was, who was more centrist than either Obama or Bush. The reason why Bush was elected after Clinton was because the country under Clinton moved left, but saw his leadership and immorality humiliate the office.

The reason why Obama was elected was because McCain was closer to Bush's economics and people thought a change was needed due to the market falling and the right could not support him based on his liberalness compared to the rest of the right. Obama had liberal ideas but quickly moved right (not centered though) with his agenda. He came across as liberal but has quickly become more communist. If he stays out there he is done. If he moves more towards the center he could get re-elected. So, Obama was considered liberal but now he is more communist. And that is why the left doesn't really even like him anymore, such as Dennis Kucinich.

The problem again is they ally themselves when it comes time for agendas but the Democrats' agendas are so wide-based and unrealistic that they can't get anything done. "I am fighting for you" is said to every group they speak to, no matter who it is. Now, how can you do that?

Ultra-conservatives such as Rush Limbaugh are so hard-core they look like Hitler to those in the center and left and that is why they are portrayed that way. This is also why Sarah Palin will not be president. Reagan was everyman's president because he was so central. Hilary is also centric but she is moving with her fellow butchers to the right and south! Ralph Nader is just wacko but he steals a lot of votes so he is good man.

At first these two words seem to be saying the same thing. However, if you really look into it then you can see that they are not. To be rational one would have to be able to think for themselves and be able to have reasoning skills. In other words, they can comprehend the basic laws of the universe since they would be common sense. To rationalize does not mean to use these thinking and reasoning skills in real life. Notice the definttion says to make rational, which means you have to turn something into being rational. It is something people twist into what they think is real thereby stupefying themselves as they do it because they start to really believe in the lie they have created. Follow the link below. Liberals can not be rational because all they do is rationalize. They think war is unneeded yet they think at the same time murdering an innocent baby is valid. Here is their line of thought:

Diplomacy should be used to disengage all violent actions. This is a rational thought. Diplomacy should always be the first reaction to everything. But it does not answer all the problems that pose society and history shows that. Some people can not be dealt with when it comes to certain situations.
War is a form of violence. This is a rational thought, however, war in order to gain independence from a tyrant could be justified. The thought process is starting to break down.
Violence is never the answer. This is a semi-rational thought. In a perfect world it would be a perfect answer. However, when someone has broken into your home and is threatening your whole family and the only way to save them is by taking out the one who is holding them hostage, then violence has become an answer.
Therefore war should never be used. And the final thought through liberalism has become rationalization. Making something rational by a flawed process, hence, liberalism. It is common sense, or dare say rational, to say that a dictator who is killing thousands of people perhaps millions needs to be disposed of before it gets worse (remember Hitler and appeasement?). This goes with terrorists as well. How many more have to die before they control the world in fear?

How about this line of thinking:

Women have rights. Rational.
Women have bodies. Rational.
Women get pregnant. Rational, but not all of them.
Women have financial problems. Rational, but not all of them.
Women can't live with financial problems and add more problems by having a baby. Partially rational and the rest is bogus. People can get by no matter what problem they are facing.
Babies can't live on their own therefore they aren't babies yet they are fetuses. And the process breaks down again. Not even babies on the outside of the womb can survive by themselves.
Therefore women have the right to abort fetuses who may cause more financial problems when they are babies. The rational has become rationalized again. A baby is a human life form no matter what stage it is in. Even if it is considered a fetus, it is still human. It has a heart, stomache, cells, senses, emotions and other human features at a very early stage.

The last one was not a shot towards women, or even women who have had abortions. It was a shot towards the thinking process that got them to that point.

The same goes with the health care issue. Liberals can not understand why conservatives want to "take away the chance for someone to have health care". They must be "Nazis"; thank you Mrs. Pelosi for that comment and expertise of name calling. They are using the rationalization process to decide that conservatives are bad people who only want to hurt others and are greedy because they do not want to give up some of their wealth to those who are less fortunate. This is not the case. No one wants to deny anyone health care. They just want to deny creating special rights to fit people's ways of life. No one should have to pay for abortion when they do not believe in it. No one should have to help pay for stomach staples, face lifts, nicotene gum, contraceptives, penicilin shots for certain diseases, or anything as stupid as these sound. This health care bill opens the door for that to happen. They claim people will die without health care. No one is turned down from a hospital due to having no insurance. It is against the law to do that. No immediate life-threatening situation would go untreated due to no health care.

Democrats- the Costellos of politics. They just multiplied 13 times 7 and got 28. And worse yet, it makes sense to them.

#60 Obituary: Democracy, 1776-2010

Democracy went to be with the Lord today. It was 233 years old. The son of the Founding Fathers and Daughters of Liberty was born on July 4, 1776 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Raised by the country it became a beacon to the rest of the world. In its youth it passed all means of expectations and excelled in keeping its promises, morals, and values. It is survived by millions of soldiers fighting for it, many conservatives who tried to keep it's values, and immigrants from around the world whom it adopted. It was preceded in death by its uncles and mentors, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison, countless friends and believers in what it stood for. A public funeral will be held in Washington, DC at the Capitol building for all to pay final respects. President Obama will be officiating the services.

This will be the sad truth come Sunday morning, the first day of spring; the day that life is supposed to be symbolically resurrected each year. This year it will not happen. The Democrats will have killed that dream and reality with one sweeping and illegal vote on health care.

There are 5 major principals of Democracy:

Consent of the governed
Limited government
Majority Rules
Representation
Checks and Balances

The political party named after a concept of freedom and values has destroyed everything it stood for. Where does the Democratic Party actually fit in to any of these principles? No where. They hold all three major parts of government (Senate, House, and White House) with the Speaker from day one of this bill kept saying IT WILL PASS NO MATTER WHAT. She has gone to the farthest lengths to get this bill passed by having closed door operations, unfair deal making and now an illegal vote. And because of that forget checks and balances from the DEM. With the passage of this bill it will either conclude or open up the door wider to more government regulations and control over the American people. In the last year the government has taken over banks, car industries, and some of the housing markets. With this bill it will pretty much complete the destruction of the power of the American citizen, so forget limited government. Every poll taken on this health care consistently shows that the majority of Americans do not want this to become law but what does the DEM party do about it? They "press on" and ignore their own constituents; the same people who trusted them to do the right thing. Thereby saying goodbye to majority rules, representation and consent of the governed. In one vote they will have re-killed all the soldiers who died for these freedoms and principles and will have made their deaths be in vain. They will have wiped away the following ideas and will have erased their value from history:

#59 From Dusk til Dawn?

With one year under his belt, President Obama's promises have not really manifested the way he was hoping. Even worse yet, the way many of his supporters were hoping. And the changes he wanted haven't been for the best. So with that in mind how does the future look for this country? Here are the results from last month's poll: Do you think we will be better economically in 2010 than 2009 or worse?

12% said it would be better. Those who answered it this way must be Democrats. Because they can't see what reality really is. Oh, you could say that these are optimists but then again, they would still be Democrats.
58% said it would get worse. Those who answered it this way must be Republicans. But these could also be pessimists and those who want the president to fail.
29% said there would be no change. Independents.

With all due fairness not all of this mess if his fault. With the likes of his own flock such as Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi he actually had no chance of succeeding when he took office. And that can be seen by the simple fact that this country was getting back on it's feet, even after a terrorist attack, major hurricanes, two wars, and political gridlock but when the democrats took over in Congress, the bottom dropped out. Obama was campaigning against President Bush even though he was running against Senator McCain. But what he should have done was run against Nancy Pelosi.

Congress again has below a 20% approval rate with no signs of ever going up. President Obama's approval rate can't be seen anywhere above the 50% mark unless you go to a poll created by CNN or MSNBC. Why is the country so much against the people they put into office? Could it be because of this STUPID HEALTH CARE BILL; the bill that still no one admits to reading, the bill that Congress is willing to break it's congressional rules on to pass, the bill that 48% of Americans say is not a good bill (Fox News)? This same bill is already raising our economic problems. Just in the great state of Ohio, commercials on both sides are being used as a battle field for propagandic gamma rays trying to eat away our brain cells. Call Steve Driehaus and tell him "stick up for us" or "let him know it's wrong". How much money is being spent on these alone that could go to pay for people's health care?

You need to wake up. There is no dawn.

Yes. You read that correctly. There is no 'c' in that word. Apparently the party that claims to be fighting for all people can't see ('c') what the people of this country want. After three embarrassing election results and major players stepping aside (Bayh- Indiana for example), can't they understand that people do not want their agenda? The only reason why they were put into power was because of all the negativity that was out there against President Bush. The hope and change that had been promised was just empty promises as was predicted earlier by this blog. "President" Obama was not elected because people thought he would do a good job. He wasn't even elected because he was half African-American as some racist fool would say. He was elected because of the empty promises that stupid Americans fell for. But what is worse is that the demorats knew this.

No one wants their agenda except San Francisco and Hollywood. These two cities run this country. They practically give Democrats 55 electoral votes automatically each election. A Democrat practically can not win unless California goes for them and all their lies. But Hollywood with the likes of Michael Moore, Alec Baldwin and such create many of the lies. Bill Clinton in his presideny became an actor. Al Gore in his whatever it was he did for 8 years became an actor. Even New Yorkers and New Jersians are waking up to this left-winged non-sense. That is why New Jersey finally elected a Republican back into the Governor's office. So what do they do to show the people they are for the people? They are trying to shove a bill down the throats of the same people. And then try to demonize those who are standing up against this, calling them obstructionists. Pelosi is determined to push this ahead no matter the costs to all Americans.

This probably isn't the change that President Obama was hoping for but nevertheless it is happening. First Virginia and New Jersey and now Massachusetts. Scott Brown has just defeated Martha Coakley in the late Ted Kennedy's seat of the Senate, 51-47. Kennedy held that seat for 40 years. Somehow he blinded them for that long. One could expect Virginia to easily switch back to a more conservative view since they usually vote that way. The last presidential election for them was a fluke. Hopefully they have learned their lesson. But New Jersey and Massachusetts? Long time "Democratic" strongholds have switched? When Virginia and New Jersey elected Republicans, Pelosi said it was not a sign and she was going to keep moving forward with her agenda and this meant nothing. Does anyone wonder what she thinks now? Does anyone care? Well, besides those in San Francisco?

Coakley said on "On the Record" with Greta van Susteren in an interview before the votes were tallied that she felt like she would win and it would not be because of the health care bill but because of how angry people are due to the Bush/Cheney era. Well, here is a question for you: How angry are they now? People are angrier now than they have ever been. Didn't she see all of the Tea Parties or the Townhall meetings? Obama even went to the state to try and help and it backfired.

Barney Frank said that the Democrats must move on and pass their bills as if nothing happened. Do you all remember Barney Frank? This is the same man who basically help build Fannie and Freddie to the brink of a national collapse and then blamed other people. But this is also the same thinking that the Democrats can not seem to change. The people keep speaking up and yet they are not listening. Hear it in his own words.

All within his first year. That can be quite tiring. By the way at this point in time his approval rate is now back around 50% for the first time in about three months.

First, to some Muslim and now to Japan's leader. This guy bows to every leader out there but won't put his hand on his heart during the pledge to his own country. He needs to be ashamed on himself! And so should we. It's understandable to give respect for a culture but notice not even the Japanese leader is bowing that much. And some will argue he was just following their customs but there is an underlying factor here and apparently a pattern.

America has a traditional policy of not bowing down to any earthly leader since the days of it's conception. In the 1908 Olympics we made it known to the world that our "flag bows before no earthly king". That year the Olympics were held in England. All of the flag bearers dipped the flag as a sign of respect for the king of England as they passed by. We did not! Some of the Irish-Americans even threatened our flag bearer sbout even thinking about it. We repeated this act in the 1992 summer olympics in Spain. All of the other countries to pay respect to the king of Spain bowed their heads as their own country passed by the king's seat. Not us!

Even our own Constitution in Article 1, Section 9, Paragraph 7 says:

No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince or foreign State.

If we can not accept a title ourselves then we should not be bowing down to any leader who has that title. It may not be law but it is one thing we have always stood for. Bowing to any earthly king is a spit in the face to all of those who fought to get rid of tyranny and monarchs. Great leader of the FREE WORLD!

Last month "President" Obama charged Fox News with being biased and manipulative in what it airs and then committed a crime (scroll down to #53) by refusing to allow Fox to do an interview with a piece of the Obama administration; the Pay Czar. He also said it wasn't a real news station and that is how he justified trying to stop the interview. Not a real news station? Doesn't news report and let us decide? Fox is the only station that will always have the opposing side on to give their views and support their cause. Many however (liberals) will refuse to go on because they know they can not hold their own against their own enhancements of stories and stretching of the facts when they are called out to do so. If the litmus test is seeing if shows are one-sided then all of them fail to a certain point. But perhaps Fox is the one that passes the most.

With people like Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews and Keith Oberman it's not a wonder why only 4% of the people trust any NBC affiliate. If any body is one sided it's this group. A lesbian, a show hog and a nut case do not make up America's dream team of news casters. CNN with America's number one talk show host and greatest example of morality, Larry King, as the main headliner can not be trusted either. That leaves at least the nightly networks. It is so great to be able to trust people like Dan Rather and CBS to get the story straight. What? Really? 2004 campaign? He lied? Well there goes network nightly news. Please do not say PBS can't be trusted! I sure hope Ernie can still have his rubber ducky.

Fox is like the Elizabeth Hassleback in the news' version of The View; a body surrounded by older, fatter, uglier and lopsided people distorting the truth so that they can look better on TV and in the meantime trying to defame the one who stands alone. Truth be known. Fox is the only station that will give all sides of the issue. Yes, they may be conservative and give their final thoughts but at least they will give you all the facts first. That is probably why you all voted for Fox.

Hail to the chief, no not Obama, Clinton. In yet another show for American stupidity in terms of leadership (a la Nobel) the world this time has praised former president Bill Clinton. Kosovo, a country of the former Yugoslavian nation, and former Serbian province, has erected (no pun intended) a statue for Clinton on November 1, 2009, claiming that he is viewed as a hero for getting the UN to launch air strikes at Serbian nationalists who were trying to stop Kosovo's independence movement. The air strikes lasted a little over two months and the UN forces moved in to settle the dispute in March of 1999. That actually was the right thing to do. We are the defenders of independence. We are the model for those who are oppressed by tyranny. But what is the rest of the story? In 1995 leaders of the area in dispute (Yugoslavia and Bosnia) were brought together in Dayton, Ohio to end the 6-year long Bosnian War. This war had been created because of the falling of the Soviet Empire and independence movements all over the world had begun. But the Bosnian War didn't end because of the accord as Clinton thought. The war moved into other places such as Kosovo. And for three and 1/2 more years the destruction went on. But where was Clinton? Oh, yes, he was in locked rooms with a certain woman who was not Hillary. Thousands of lives were still being destroyed and only after his domestic problems were taken care of by a bogus vote in the Senate for removal after impeachment did he decide to bolster his image and attack the Serbian army. What a hero. John Wayne would be proud.

When the American colonies decided to break away from Great Britain and the tyrannical rule of it's king, George III, it did so on grounds of acts of despotism by that certain monarch. The acts of despotism included unfair trials, unfair laws, unfair taxes, and unfair treatment. The treatment in question dealt with the taking away of rights. Among these rights that were being taken away were, as Thomas Jefferson phrased, unalienable rights of man. Rights that all man(kind) are born with. The freedom to have a voice and speak your mind is the most basic of all freedoms. And in the same category of freedom of speech, there is another freedom that has been ensured by the founding fathers to protect the American people by allowing them to hear the truth about our community, it's people and the government. It's called freedom of the press. But apparently, "President" Obama has not read this paper nor the Constitution. None of that is surprising since he hasn't even read his own bill on health care.

In case no one can remember what the First Amendment to the Constitution says, including the administration of the current president, here its is:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

So then why has this administration tried to ban a legitimate news outlet (FOX-News) from interviewing the "Pay Czar", which by the way setting up new offices for government control over the people is also a detestable act we complained about in the Declaration of Independence? If the pay czar refused to do the interview on grounds of self-incrimination that is one thing. But if an order by the White House to ban the interview was given then a federal crime was committed. Our Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments were written and added to our Constitution to protect the American from any government that would try and set up anything remotely connected to tyranny. Yet, we are at the doorstep of mainline Socialist Technocracy and people are still thinking he is the savior of the world.

So let's compare.

Lincoln: Never really won an election until his later days when he became president. He served one term in Congress. Well, the same with Obama. Maybe he is like Lincoln. Oh, wait. Lincoln during his term of president was locked in a Civil War that broke the country apart. Yet, instead of worrying about gay rights he fought to keep the country together. He stood his ground in times of trouble and didn't cater to those opposing him. Perhaps he is no Lincoln.

Kennedy: Kennedy was one of the first to fight for civil rights. Maybe he is like Kennedy. Oh, wait. Kennedy did not back down from socialism when it came to push and shove. He didn't take down missiles of protection and stood up for an ally (Turkey at the time) and their protection. Sure he had his trouble with female celebrities, but after all he was a Democrat President. But he stood his ground in times of trouble. Perhaps he is no Kennedy.

GW Bush: No plan of withdrawal from wars on terror and has put people without any intelligence in his cabinet. Maybe he is a GW Bush. Oh, wait. Bush brought the country back together after a tragedy (9-11, in case you forgot) and stood his ground against terrorists and the US was never attacked again under his watch. Instead of wasting time on politics he stood his ground in times of trouble. Perhaps he isn't even a GW Bush.

FDR: Socialist reforms, got us through a depression, perhaps he is an FDR. Oh, wait. FDR was solving problems the US had, not creating them. But perhaps we are getting closer.

Hitler: A man who preached racism. A man who was for national socialism. A man who tried to use censorship and propaganda to get his ideas across. A man who used children to praise himself. A man who promised to get his people out of debt through change. A man who became Time's man of the year, 1938, so he is a man who got distinction for nothing good. A man who lied to get what he wanted. There may be a pattern started here.

Stalin: A man who said we have to take from the wealthier class and spread the wealth. A man who believed in tyrannical socialism, not just welfare. A man who also used censorship and propaganda to get his point across. A man who was Time's man of the year, 1942, also becoming a man with distinction for nothing positive. A man who lied to get what he wanted. Definitely a pattern.

His own person: No new ideas. Just same rhetoric from liberal viewpoints that say conservatives are out of touch with people. Same two-sided Democrat double talk about working for all Americans but helping his own agenda, to get re-elected by catering to all groups he can. Same ideological non-sense from left-wingers that try and run the country with far sided misconceptions about how the earth really is, aka Michael Moore. His own person? Perhaps not.

Evidence: nothing positive has happened in the first 10 months, no prospects of anything positive, taking protection away from allies, not helping the military by putting off decisions on a surge or not, speaking to schools not by personal visits but by making a national televised event to show how hard his life was and how he had to overcome things, by using not just television but by YouTube and other media outlets targeting certain audiences (the younger crowd) to listen to his rhetoric.

Verdict: It ain't good. Perhaps the closest thing we can say is, he is the epitome of those before him. Perhaps this poll was correct. 67% of the voters think he is something negative to the world, yet he is the "man of peace". Thank you Nobel. Hail to the chief. Or is it Heil to the chief?

You have got to be kidding. What has the world come to? A man who has done nothing but "campaign" for his own benefit is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Did he get rid of nuclear weapons? Did he solve the Mid-East problem? Did he end any wars? Did he get 50 million people the right to vote? Did he keep our current allies happy by maintaining their security, i.e.; Poland? Did he solve the world economic problem? Heck, has he fixed anything in his own country yet? All of the answers to the questions above is "NO!". This is the same man who campaigned on the promise that he would withdraw our troops from Iraq the same day he would take office and has failed to do so. Which smart Americans knew was a promise that could not and should not be kept. Only stupid Amerikans were duped by that one. This is the same man who right now has no exit strategy for Afghanistan. The same man who criticized President Bush for not having one, is now sitting on his hind end not listening to military leaders about needs to be done (troop surge) and is allowing more and more military to die without cause. And this is the man who gets a peace prize.

By the way, no one who has been in leadership of any country should be awarded any kind of distinction of this caliber in only 9 months of work. This is not a political ideological argument. This is a common sense fact. But the world has been duped by this man. If those who awarded him this prized did so on account of his dreams and speeches on peace then the world should get a peace prize as well. No one wakes up and says "I sure hope we have war today, it's too peaceful". We all want peace. We all want a better world. Just because one "hopes" for it and promises "change" does not make him the one we all should bow down to. Can any one answer: What has the man accomplished?

#48 Mooch, the 84-40 Crowd

During the beginnings of the Industrial Revolution in the United States workers were not treated very well, nor paid very well, nor did they have very safe jobs. Nevertheless they were jobs. Workers were paid $0.15/hour and had to work 14 hour shifts, 6 days a week. People worked 84 hours a week and made $12.60 on their paychecks on a "minimum wage". But people were happy they had a job. People worked for a living no matter if they came home tired and perhaps hurt and they were happy to have a job. People worked without unions and contracts and without job security and they were happy to have a job. No workman's comp, no benefits, no 401ks, no stock options, and people were happy to have a job. Children sometimes had to pick up the slack to make ends meet for their families, and they were happy to have a job. People had to work without health care and they were happy to have a job. And by the way, no one asked the government and other tax payers to take the bill. They were dignified and earned their living.

Today? People get paid $7.25/hour and do not want anymore than 40 hours a week. They make $290 a week at minimum wage at McDonald's. People get paid $30/hour at some factories without an education and bring home $1200 a paycheck if they are in a union. They have job security with unions (even if they are lousy workers). They get benefits. They have options with their retirement funds. Children no longer work which means competitive wages for adults, driving up the minimum wage. Those who have full time jobs have health care. But the main difference? People aren't happy they have to work.

Sure, child labor laws are for the better and wages would be great if we could keep them up. Sure, jobs are safer and most are secure. Sure, labor unions got some of these things done for the American worker. Sure, retirement funds are a great asset in our old age. It all seems golden.

Health care for all would be great but health care is not a right. It is a privilege. Neither the Declaration of Independence nor the Constitution proclaim it as a right. We have dug ourselves a hole (thank you FDR, America's first socialist president) for the last 70 years and expect others to give us stuff. Many things we don't deserve and then get mad when we do not get it. We have lived off of each other for too long. We have expected to get higher pay for remedial work and don't take jobs that only pay minimum wage and complain we are out of work while the immigrant is "stealing our jobs".

If we don't get the things we want, it must be other people's fault, especially George Bush's fault. Thank God, Barack Obama came along to get us out of this mess. All we have to do is give our paychecks to him and the government and we will all be okay. Somebody will pay for all of us. Because let's face it, we are a country of moochers.

Results from the latest poll are astounding. Last month the question of the use of marijuana was asked.

37% said that marijuana should be legal and allowed to use with no restrictions whatsoever.
22% said that marijuana should be allowed but for medical purposes only.
22% said that marijuana should not be allowed but the punishment of possessing or using it should only be a misdemeanor.
16% said that marijuana should not be allowed no matter what and it should be treated as a felony.

This means that 59% of the people who voted on this poll agree that marijuana could somehow be part of the American society one way or another or that it is not hat big of a deal if it is in the market somehow. This isn't the most scientific poll created but this happened to be the largest total of votes that this site has ever had in it's first year of existence so these numbers can be trusted more than any other poll so far. if we would take these numbers across the US it would mean that 177 million people think marijuana is not that big of a deal. What makes this number even more staggering is that most of the people who come to this site are Christian (90%). An assumption about those who think it is okay to use is that they are the ones who have probably used or are using. If you add these assumptions up that means that many who are Christian and attend church are getting high and are using drugs. It's no wonder why churches have to water down their message for this generation. They can't reach them because they can't understand it while they're high. Yes, this is the extreme view on this topic but unfortunately where there is an extreme there is truth. We have many people in our churches getting high. So what?

Many people will say there are positive effects of smoking marijuana. But most of those are for medical reasons only while sites like this one: http://www.ehow.com/about_4596355_positive-effects-marijuana.html can't truly be trusted because they are one-sided and are probably voters for Ralph Nader. And anyone who votes for Ralph Nader has to have their head examine anyway. Nevertheless, Ralph, keep running for president, please. The point of this whole argument isn't about the positive effects or negative effects. Probably because anything and everything can have an equal amount of them if we try to find them hard enough. The main point of this paper is that anything that will change who you are, whether it be physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual can be the wrong thing to do. People say that marijuana has less effects on the body than coffee or is less addictive than caffeine. That is not the point. Those who use caffeine or coffee won't steal from their friends to get another cup. Most who use caffeine will not lie just to get another fill. If someone is on caffeine it doesn't mean that if they get an overload of it that they will stop functioning in the real world. It would be better if a doctor before a surgery would drink coffee than having them smoke a joint.

The worst problem out of this drug is that it is another way of escaping reality. It is another sign of the society that we live in; one that can not deal with how things really are. It is another action of people that leads to abuse of their bodies. A great line from a song by the Christian Metal band Bride called Psychedelic Super Jesus goes like this:

People get real. Life may stink sometimes but that's because people give up too easily. The old saying of when life gives you a lemon you make lemonade is no longer followed. It's more like when life gives you a lemon make Mike's hard lemonade.

So here the president outlines it all for us in one paragraph. Thank you Mr. President. Now maybe we can trust what you say.

Just in case you are a liberal and can not figure this out here it is: the president in his articulate way (without a teleprompter actually) shows how well a government program can be. First, if the government runs something then not many competitors try to compete; only two in this case. And when the government is the largest company in the market, look at what happens- "always having problems".

It took six minutes to do something he really didn't even do...apologize for being wrong. When asked about the situation that deals with a Massachusetts police officer and Professor Gates the President overstepped his bounds by actually taking sides. The first news conference was about the health care policy, not racism. But of course the media had to try and make something else out of it. But instead of staying presidential and rebuking the media, he got involved. But to make matters worse he brings it up again on a national forum. All he had to do was say he was sorry or that he shouldn't have answered it on such a national forum which was supposed to be about the economy. Why was a whole conference needed for this? Because he is about the show. I guess this one wasn't above his pay grade. In the end it ends up being one big joke. "Let's go have a beer". So using the words of James Carville who mocked President George HW Bush, it's about the apology, stupid.

You had been warned of the oncoming stupidity and socialistic actions of the man we now call the President. Now we will reap what we have sown. You have to understand what this health care fiasco will do to the nation. If the health care bill passes we will become the United Socialist States of America.

On July 22, 2009, President Obama made a nationalized speech to promote his health care reform bill and its ideas. The language he used was just lawyerized garble. It meant nothing. It got nowhere. It explained zero. But that is what socialists do. Cloud the issue to get what you want done. One question was asked for a guarantee from Obama that that government would not overstep their boundaries in making decisions on your health. It was NOT answered!!!!!! That should be a warning sign for any smart person.

In his speech he stated that under his plan 50 million people would get health insurance. He said it would all be paid for and that it would create income for the rest of us. This is the same plan that most of the resources and budget watchers say is not a good plan.

First of all here are some things NOT mentioned in the speech. The following figures are from US Census Bureau, 2006 and are estimated.

Yes, 50 million may now get health care insurance, but where is the money coming from? President Obama says most will come from the waste of Medicare and Medicaid. Now anyone can see that there is always waste and this is a good plan to try and clean up the wasteful spending. But he did NOT say all of it would come from this waste. He did NOT mention where the rest would come from. And you should know where! The Middle Class. Some of these people are lower middle class. There are 150 million who fall into lower middle, working, and/or poverty class.
There are 100 million people who are middle class that pay their bills and live life but never pull ahead. There are 20 million who are middle class that seem to be pulling ahead and making some profit. There are 10 million who are upper middle class and more than likely your small business people. There are 10 million people who are considered "rich" and may not be really affected in the short term.
When these 50 million get their new health care and the Medicare and Medicaid numbers do not get it all paid, the bill will fall to the middle class. 120 million people will have to start fitting the bill. The same 120 million who are getting hit hard through the housing, auto, and banking crisis. When the bill comes to this group, 100 million who are just making will now go under. The 20 million who are pulling ahead will fall to "just making it". And the 10 million who own small businesses will be affected in their business. Which means they might lay off people to compensate their losses. And who works for them? The lower middle and middle class, thereby affecting their income and crisis even more.
So to pay for these 50 million people, 140 million people will lose more of their income due to TAXES!
Some of the programs which will be paid for may be some programs that the average American would not want to pay for. ABORTION, would be part of this bill.
Plus, since many of these insurance agencies such as those with Medicare and Medicaid when they lose this wasteful spending, will turn to raising their premiums and prices to compensate for the losses. And then who gets the bill here? The Middle Class.
You will not get to make the decisions about what you need to do with your doctor. Once this bill passes, all of your records will go to Washington, and someone there will make the decision for you. This means red tape. This means bureaucracy. Do you hate to go to the BMV and deal with those people? Well, they're local. Imagine going through the federal government to get something done. It takes 6-8 weeks to get your income taxes back. Imagine insurance policies through them. If you need surgery, you could die waiting for someone to make a decision.
You may lose your choice of doctor. Instead of getting the person you want, the government would make you go to the cheapest person to save money.
Out of the 50 million that will get insurance, about 10% will be illegal aliens. This is a ploy by the Obama administration to ensure more votes for the Democrat Party.

We all should help people. If someone can't afford their bills, we should try and help as much as possible. But it should be a choice. One thing all need to learn from history is that Socialist programs do one things: forced equality. And this forced equality is not high quality. It is forced poverty! President Obama will destroy the American dream. He can not be trusted.

Apparently, no one from the government answered this poll. Apparently no one from the Obama administration answered this question. Because if either one did then you have somebody say yes tremendously. There was 5% that answered that this package did help them a little but do they really know what the end result is going to be?

First of all if you have noticed your check may have had a little bit of an increase in the last couple of months. That is due to President Obama's plan. His promise to get more money into the hands of Americans so the economy can be established. A conversation was overheard at work by someone who voted for Obama that went like this: "I sure can use that $20 extra a paycheck.". But honestly what is that going to do? One more family outing to McDonald's each week? One more shirt in your closet? Even if you add up the money it would total $520 a year. Now if you saved it all then it may help you get two more car payments done or even a small house payment. You just might get a surprise next tax season. For example the old tax law said that if your bi-weekly paycheck was $1500, then you would pay around $197 in fed at 0 exemption. Well the new law states that the same income will now be $175. Yes, you saved $20 each paycheck throughout the year but you may not know that they are planning on taking back $22 dollars each paycheck at the end of the year, which means most of us will have to pay the government in April 2010. How many are saving this $20 extra each bi-week? Obama hopes no one is saving it to stimulate the economy and at the end of the year the government will get the surplus. Yes, he is the great stimulator...for the government. A great socialist going communist, or just a stupid Amerikan?

Real Americans know that this package is not helping you. Unlike President Bush's tax plan which gave YOU the MONEY and the OPTION of what to do with it and a tax break at the end of the year, this plan will give the GOVERNMENT the MONEY and NO OPTION on what to do with it. Learn the facts!

#41 Arrogant and Proud of it

This is a personal paper and not one that is usually full of facts for others to ponder. As I was sitting on a cold wet concrete walkway watching the fireworks and listening to patriotic songs I started to think about great this country really is and what it has gone through to stay this way.

For 233 years now we have been a beacon for the world to see. We have been the prototype of every form of modern democracy one can fathom. We have been a solace for those who have faced atrocities and hardships so much that they felt they had to leave their mother land to feel safe. We have sacrificed our own young men and women for the safety of not just our own borders but for the borders of our friends and neighbors. Our dollar saved the world from the Great Depression. Our leaders called out other leaders to get them to change and placed ideas of freedom into the hearts of peoples from other lands if their leaders didn't want to change. Our people send missionaries all over the world to help fight disease and starvation. Our government send aid to whomever needs it due to natural disasters.

Yes, we have had our times of trials, tribulations and tragedies. We started this country by taking away land from a people who deserve more than what they have. We took others from other areas of the world and forced them to become laborers for our own benefits. But our past is behind us. When it comes down to it all, we stick together and help each other. We may disagree with each other sometimes, but we have the freedom to do so and that makes us special. Some countries and people hate us. Some have called us arrogant; unfortunately, some of those are even our own leaders. Some are ashamed of who we are; unfortunately, some of those are wives of our leaders. But when I look at who we are and what we do across the world and what we stand for, and for what we have gone through to be who we are today, I say I am arrogant and proud of it. Some say we have to change. True, we need to love who we are again and stop losing our culture.

In President Obama's speech in Turkey in April 2009, he said "we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation, or a Muslim nation, but rather, a nation of citizens who are, uh, bound by a set of values.”. http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/election/1003. However, nearly two years earlier he is stated as saying: “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation — at least, not just. We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, and a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.” Then on June 3rd this year he says that we ARE a Christian nation but we also the 3rd largest Muslim nation in the world.

Do you remember January 30, 2002 when President Bush said there was an axis of evil and the axis was Iraq, Iran, and North Korea? Why would he say such a thing? He must have been an idiot. Iraq was never a threat. They never had a dictator who used chemical weapons on his own people. They never had any weapons they weren't supposed to have by UN sanctions for 15 years. They never tortured their people for speaking up. Iran never had a dictator. North Korea never had a dictator. Neither of these two places are trying to get nuclear weapons. Neither of these two have threatened the outside world with destruction or the annihilation of any country, especially Israel. President Bush must have been a fool. Could there be anyone dumber?

Oh, wait! There may be a contender. Since when will Russia and China ever punish anyone that are not citizens of their own country? For years, perhaps decades now, the UN has been trying to pass sanction after sanction, resolution after resolution, and action after action but there has been at least two countries that have tried to put a stop to these things every time: Russia and China. If President Obama thinks he can manipulate these two countries into punishing North Korea (like the way he manipulated our country to vote for him) then he must be even a bigger fool than President Bush. That question simply answers itself.

President Obama's plan is to give it to us a little at a time Have you seen your last paycheck? That's your part of the stimulus package. The package that NO ONE in Congress read before they voted for it.
Has his personal airplane paid for by Americans fly into New York City at altitudes so low the Statue of Liberty could have kissed him. This action causing many New Yorkers to relive 911. The people did not know that this was just a photo opportunity. The mayor knew nothing of it. And now we hear the president knew nothing of it. First of all don't these people know about Photo Shop? And secondly if the president doesn't know what his plane and people are doing then who does?
Lifts ban on stem cell research so we can play God, and then lifts ban on abortion to we can play God a little more. Didn't he say abortion was above his pay grade?
The government has taken over Chrysler and soon other companies as well. Stalin is itching to come out of his grave so he can help.

This should tell you how the world is going lately. The Miss USA Pageant was just held recently and it came down to two finalists: Miss North Carolina and Miss California. Unfortunately for Miss California, the liberal media was let into the room and was allowed to ask a question; a stupid question. The question was "Vermont recently became the 4th state to legalize same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit. Why or why not?". And who should ask it? Perez Hilton. How would any person from California answer? Surprisingly, "Well, I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offence to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be - between a man and a woman. Thank you very much." Now of course there was much brouhaha about her answer started by homosexual maniacs. One in the audience even stated how horrible of an answer it was because "95% of the audience" didn't feel that way. But judging from the noise level it sounded more like 25%. Miss California Carrie Prejean, you are the Good for standing up for your morals. Perez Hilton, you are the Bad for calling Miss Prejean a b*tch after the show. The Pageant judging, you are the ugly for not respecting other peoples' opinion but expecting everyone to respect yours.

The UN finally did something respectable and actually acted upon something for the first time in its history. It wasn't enough but it's a start. When Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stood up and said Monday, "Israel, the most cruel and repressive racist regime.", many of the western diplomats got up and left as a protest. It's about time somebody let this maniac know he will not rule the UN or the rest of us. Grow some and stand up to him. Some protesters actually threw clown noses at him. Too bad they weren't clown shoes. UN for once, you are the Good. Ahmadinjad, you are the Bad. Racism, you are the ugly.

There are events going on all around the country today 4/15/09. They are called Tea Parties. "Taxed Enough Already". They are conservative meetings that are protesting the way Washington DC is spending American money. But the Amerikan media suc as CNN, HLN, CNBC and such are giving about 5 minutes per news hour describing these events. As one watches these shows one can see how biased the media is. These Liberal outlets are portraying conservative or these crazed right-wing nuts as threatening. FOX News of course is donating a huge amount of time covering this and making sure the truth gets out there. In Cincinnati, Ohio back on March 15th, there was a precursor to today's event. Not one local station showed up to broadcast the protest. Then half way through the local Fox news channel of Cincinnati showed, only to get on air that night and claim how they felt threatened by the crowd. They said they felt like they had to leave. Yet, this media station (those with access to cameras) did not show any of their proof. How can the media not show something that happened? Answer: It didn't happen. Speaking from the full personal experience of being there; it was not threatening. It was peaceful. It was loud but it was supposed to be.

#34 FDR in the Making?

All presidents since FDR have had a grading scale. It is called the first 100 days. FDR who became president after the 1932 election is the president who had to deal with the Great Depression. He started programs that tried to get America back on her feet. Programs that included the Banking Act, Economy Act, and the Agricultural Act just to name a few. These paved the way for the Social Security Act of 1935. These were meant to be short termed solutions until a more solid solution could be found. For the most part it started America back on its upward trend that would last until Carter became president. And he accomplished these things in the first 100 days if taking office. Now every president is compared to him.

Well President Obama was riding the missile to the top of the ranks with all of his promises. People were tired of President Bush and his policies and so out of a protest vote we elected for a new direction. Thank you stupid Amerikans.

President Obama is changing so many things no one can keep up with him. His policy seems to be be "if was from a Bush then burn it". From stem cell research and abortion policies to the military and how President Bush signed bills into law. Yes, that is right, President Obama is using your tax dollars to create a policy to change the way President Bush signed bills into law. Now that is a most obvious change that is needed. And then his promises about change in government leadership has fallen short by picking many people who have already served in these positions with the exception of a few. It should also be noted that the conservative people he has chosen for cabinet and other officials have been from the Senate. Why? Because he is trying to get Republican numbers down in the Senate to have a more than 60% Democrat majority which is enough to stop anything the Republicans can send to the Senate (look it up).

The Democrats in Congress aren't helping. Amerika should call for the resignation of President Obama and elect Nancy Pelosi as president so she can finish off the rest of us. A second stimulus bill when the first one hasn't even left the White House yet? And the bailouts that are being used to give CEO's bonuses like AIG is doing. BOYCOTT ALL COMPANIES WHO TAKE THE BAILOUT! If they thought they took a loss before, let them see what happens when they don't use the money we gave them in the right way if we do the right thing and boycott.

So how are President Obama's first 100 days? Well, President Bush, you know the man who 70% of you hated for misguided reasons, had around a 62% approval rate ate this time in his first term. President Obama???? 60.8% approval rating. God help him.

#32 History Lesson- Soviet Union

Maybe you don't remember the Soviet Union since it has been 18 years when it dissolved. We can't seem to remember what happened 7 1/2 years ago, so remembering the Soviet Union might be hard for some. For those who had difficulty staying awake in history class, using too many drugs in high school, or were from families of misfortune and didn't care about international problems here is a synopsis of what happened:

The Russian Empire had gone through some leaders that the Russian people were feeling out of touch with due to the fact that the leaders were from the higher class of society.
Some of the leaders made changes in the government and society but many of the Russian people did not like the change because they felt their leaders were still corrupt.
One in particular leader got the Russian Empire into wars that many of the people felt were useless and ill conceived.
Another leader rose up fast in the ranks and promised the Russian people some hope and change such as his slogan that said: "Peace, land and bread".
The Russian people went for the change, had two revolutions (one serene, the other violent).
Once the revolution had ended, a new government was in place, one of socialism. A country that had been around for longer than the average country had fallen.
After this leader was gone, the next leader turned the country into communism, or what he perceived as communism and the people had been repressed and oppressed for the next 75 years.

Sound familiar? America has gone through the first 4 1/2 of these steps. The reason we study history is so we do not make the same mistakes. Are we learning or are we stupid Amerikans? We are well on our way to socialism and no one cares. Our government is starting to mess more and more with free enterprise and capilalism, when they should be focused on the stupidity of American people.

We are living with a new breed of Democrats than those of Kennedy. When you go back and listen to Kennedy's inauguration speech you hear these famous words of:

"And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for
you—ask what you can do for your country."

Today's democrats, the children of Kennedy, have abandoned what the man stood for. His speech was calling for all Americans to make sacrifices but voluntarily do so, to remain loyal and not trade in American values, to stand strong against any who oppose and want to change our values, and to put aside our differences so we do not make a big deal out them. But today we see democrats going the opposite direction. Instead of standing strong, they want to tuck their tails and flee. Instead of putting aside our differences they want to stress them and only get their agenda done (but of course admittedly this is a two way street). Instead of remaining loyal they want to help the terrorists and give them clemency and legal rights. But, the worst thing they have done is fail to make sacrifices for their country.

The new battle cry (which is echoed or perhaps is led by their new messiah) is "Don't ask what you can do for your country, ask what can the country do for you?". They live in a world where they feel the government and the rest of the citizenship owes them something. They do not know what sacrifice is all about. They may know hardships and hard times but not sacrifice. They are embracing socialism because many do not want to try. They want the rest of us to pay for them. November 2001, President Bush acquires an 88% approval rate, one of the highest ever recorded in American history. Republicans, Democrats and Independents alike all gather around the man who will lead America through a national tragedy. Congressional leaders gathered on the steps of the Capitol Building and sang "God Bless America". Nationalism at its best. The President promised to find those who did this atrocity to us and keep us safe. We found out who did it. We have not been attacked since. Not once has the US been under attack nor has any American property domestic or foreign been severely hit. We toppled Saddam Hussein and brought a dictator to justice. We toppled the Talibani regime. Millions of people voted for the first time in history. Women in Afghanistan were allowed to go to school for the the first time in their lives. Everyone in the US who actually pays taxes received tax cuts. This is something the Democrats tried to stop.

Yet, November 2008, President Bush acquires a 25% approval rate. Why? Because the left wants to burn Bush. They want to blame everything bad that has happened on him and many are unfair claims. The economy always has downturns, historically you can not change that. But he is not in charge of the economy. His policies rarely get to the American people. Congress was in control more of the economy than he was. And when the Republicans were in charge the economy was at an all time high. The DOW-Jones hit 14,000. Then after Congress changed in January 2007 the economy started to slip and when Barney Frank and his cohorts denied any problems on their watch Fannie Mae and friends took a nose dive thereby starting a spiral effect of the American way of life. Hurricane Katrina WAS NOT President Bush's fault. Even the slow response was due to New Orleans and the Governor of Louisiana, and FEMA. Not finding WMDs in Iraq is not President Bush's fault. They simply were not there. The information given to him was bogus. But shouldn't we feel safer now that we found out they have none?! The environment is not President Bush's fault. We have been tearing it up since the day God created us. Gas prices were not President Bush's fault. Greed from Arabic/OPEC nations and the stupidity of people not wanting to use our own resources caused these to go up.

The present wants to burn a Bush. The future will look back and notice that he had been misjudged. So long, Mr Bush. Thank you for 8 years of safety.

#29 Help is on the Way

Happy New Year. Hope that doesn't offend those who do not celebrate a new year or have a different day to celebrate.

Results of December's Poll:
62% think that President-elect Obama's biggest problem is the economy.
12% think that his morals are going to hurt him.
12% think that the Middle East will give him trouble.
6% think terrorism.
6% think his popularity will turn on him.
0% think China, Russia, Congress or anything else will give him struggles.

So only 18% think that the outside world will effect Mr Obama and 80% think his biggest problems will come from the inside.

The economy though is not really under a president's control. Oh, they can influence the market by signing stimulus packages. We see how much that helped and changed the economy. He can give back tax breaks and refunds. That sure did help. Or he can create short term jobs that will end after his presidency or bail out every one in need. The economy is only about 5% of what the president does. It's about 10% of Congress. It's about 25% of the consumer. It's mostly about what the companies and those with money do. If they decide to raise prices, the rest of us pay the price. If they decide to lay people off then some people get screwed. If they decide to hold meetings and send people to seminars for $4 million then we have to hear about it. If the economy hurts Mr Obama, we should feel sorry for him just like any other American who doesn't own a million dollar house.

The Middle East is always a problem. There are no solutions to what happens over there. It's not going to stop until the anti-Christ puts an end to it. Oh wait..., never mind.

Terrorism? William Ayers? On the serious side, we should all hope that this never effects any president ever again. Sorry, President Bush.

Popularity? Well, he has already ticked off the homosexual groups and atheists. This is actually raised his popularity for one person. :-)

China? Russia? Congress? They may not be his downfall but these will definitely be road blocks for him. They always are. They are the three largest groups of humanitarian atrocities in history.

No. If Mr. Obama has a downfall, it will be his morals. He's going into the presidency without any. He is starting out with a lie: CHANGE! He is bringing in all the older government workers. He hasn't had a backbone to stand up against abortion activists. It's above his pay grade. His tax cut isn't, but abortion is.

His other promise is HOPE. Let's hang on to that. It may be all we have left after he is done...in 8 years.

It seems like Christmas time just isn't Christmas time anymore. And that is probably because we have made it into something else over the years. This year it looks like this day is going to be the epitome of what the American way of life has become and is just a shadow of what the American economy is like. Britney Spears said it best, "Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme more gimme more." Here are some things about Christmas that maybe people have forgotten:

It's not about just one day. It is about a season. This season is about about hope. It's about sharing. It's about setting aside all of our differences. It's about getting to know someone. It's about taking love and passing it on to the next person. It's about change. It's a season that should prepare you for the rest of the year.
It's not about getting things. It's about giving things. In the world we live in people put too much value on the items we have or can obtain. We live in a selfish world. It used to be about the thought behind the gift. Now it's all about the gift.
It's not about wealth. It's about happiness. If we only had more! If we could just have more money then we can help more. The question is: what do you do with the wealth that you have now? And you are wealthy! If you can read this posting, you are wealthy. You own a computer. You pay for Internet service. You had schooling that taught you to read. You have time to sit and read. You are wealthy. It's not about wealth. It's about happiness. There are people who are rich and not happy. There are people who are poor yet the happiest of all.
It's not about you. It's about a world. Again, we live in a selfish world where all we can think about is, "what do I get out of it?". There's more to this world than just you. There are others who need help.
It's not about the "economy stupid". It's about a man. This is the most important part of the season. All we hear on TV is how the market will respond to the holiday shoppers. Is that what this is all about; how much money stores are going to get when all is said and done.

Christmas has lost its meaning. Today it's all about keeping the economy afloat by making the greedy rich and by making the selfish lack nothing. God, whether you want to believe it or not does not change the fact, gave up part of Himself to come to earth. Live like a man, with all its capabilities of evil and hatred, yet He did not. He was born into this world to show the way. He is the absolute opposite of the world we live in yet He chose to put Himself into it. He gave Himself to the world so that it might have hope. He didn't take anything from the world, He gave everything to the world. If you want to talk about real hope and real change then talk about this man, Jesus Christ, the real Messiah. Today, the true meaning of Christmas has been wiped from history or is being wiped from history. No longer are we allowed to say Merry Christmas at work. No longer are national stores hanging signs that wish people a Merry Christmas. All because a positive message may offend some people. Funny, because without this holiday these same national stores would not make it financially. Imagine if the ones who really do celebrate the season would stop celebrating it. What would happen to the economy then?

It's okay to have a holiday season, as long as we remember what the season is truly about. Merry Christmas.

Secretary of Defense- Robert Gates (present Sec of Defense)
Homeland Security- Janet Napolitano (Gov-AZ)
UN Ambassador- Susan Rice (Former Asst Sec of Sate)
Economic Recovery- led by 81 year old Paul Volker (Former Chairman of Fed Reserve)
And of course, Vice President- Joe Biden (Sen-DE)

If you look into the careers of these people you will find a common theme. Most of them have all served under either George W Bush or Bill Clinton, one way or another. For a man who talked about change being his number one priority he isn't showing much promise. If this is his promise of change coming true, imagine what his promise of hope will look like when it comes true.

Only 25% of you said that Sen. Obama can do anything about the problems America is facing. 75% said that he would do very little or would/could do nothing at all. You must have been those who voted for John McCain.

Another word and tradition that has lost its original meaning and purpose due to the liberalization of America. If you look at the true meaning of the word and you are a liberal it would be surprising that you have not started a law suit to stop calling days of special meaning a "holiday". Check out the following definition from American Heritage Dictionary:

A day free from work that one may spend at leisure, especially a day on which custom or the law dictates a halting of general business activity to commemorate or celebrate a particular event.
A religious feast day; a holy day.

Holiday means "holy day". A day that is meant to be kept sacred. Most of the holidays in America are based upon religious ceremonies, whether you want to admit it or not. However many of the holidays now celebrated have taken on different meanings and even different titles. Easter is actually based on the Jewish feast of Passover. Have you ever wondered why sometimes "Easter" is in April and sometimes "Easter" is in March? It's because the Jewish calendar is based on a 360 day year. Every year that passes the Jewish calendar loses 5 days compared to standard calendars. Hence, Passover moves up a week each year. Every 7 years there is a leap year where an extra month is added to the Jewish calendar thereby catching up with the rest of us. "Easter" moves with Passover. The term Easter may have its origins in a pagan ritual celebrating a woman named Ishtar who some thought was a goddess of fertility. The Passover just happened to be around the same date so the secular world uses the pagan term (of course).

Christmas. Obviously, this is one holiday that the pagan really wants to turn into something else since it is the day that literally celebrates one man. And that one man is the Saviour of the world. We know how much this holiday has been ruined by greed, materialism and corruption. This will be discussed next month on how liberalism has killed the most sacred of all holy days.

Surprisingly enough, the holiday in November know as Thanksgiving has not been catapulted into the depths of paganism yet as of today. Although, it has lost its importance in its own right. It is no longer allowed to stand on its own. It has become the opening of the "Holiday Season". It has been surpassed many times by the merchandising of society. It is better known as the opening of the shopping season with Black Friday. Thankfully, it is still about thanksgiving. Honoring and remembering those in our lives who mean something to each of us. Thanking those who have passed on before us who have given their lives so that we can enjoy the blessings of liberty. And for some of us, it is a time to again thank our Savior for giving us eternal life and freedom from sin.

Whatever you celebrate, thank something or someone! I personally thank the liberals for not killing this holy day. And for everyone, all politics aside, Happy Thanksgiving.

The Republican Party has seen the end of its existence as we know it. The party of Lincoln, Roosevelt (the good one), and Reagan is vanishing from the face of the earth. What happened to it? It lost its principles and its fire power. Too many GOP candidates are allowing the media to beat them up. They are allowing Hollywood to take over their campaign. They have given up on traditional conservative values thereby alienating the Christian base it once held close. It had been said that the Christian Right-wing conspirators put George W Bush into office. Pew Research Center says that 78% of "evangelical" White Christians voted for Bush in 2004. While 13% of Black Christians also voted for Bush. Adding these together the Christian vote may have been strong enough to carry Bush into a second term. The numbers for this election are not final but some sources say the number of white Christians dropped to around 70% while Black Christians dropped even more significantly. Race is not the issue but this is how media separated things for us. Undoubtedly, the only reasons why most Christians even stayed with the GOP was due to Sarah Palin. But in the end many saw her as not ready. The GOP also lost many due to Sen. McCain's maverick position. Many felt he would not stick to conservative values when needed. Then there are some who felt President Bush lost touch with the American people and if McCain was going to take his place it might end up the same. And then the last group voted for Obama as a protest against all of President Bush's policies. All of these added to the defeat of Senator McCain. But the bigger picture is the GOP might go down with him. The Constitution Party may see a huge rise in its support. The only way the GOP can gain momentum is by consolidating with other conservatives and/or by courting the so-called religious right. But it is the opinion that we have seen the death of the GOP.

I foresee under Obama's administration that the Pastor will be silenced when preaching the truth because it will be considered a hate crime. No Born Again Christian can in their right mind vote for a man who has been raised a Muslim and who now hangs his hat on a Christian label, being taught for the past twenty years by a mad man posing as a preacher with racist and hate filled sermons (Jeremiah Wright). The new term for the next president of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama. We have heard of NeoNazi, NeoConservative (Neocon), well now we will have Neo-Socialist. Senator Obama's tax plan is a hint of Stalinism. Do you all remember Stalin from your history books? His plan?

Raise taxes on those who are "rich". Those who are making $250,000 or more per year will get higher taxes. Problem: His definition of rich is a little distorted. Senators of the US Congress have an annual salary of $169,300. The annual salary of someone from the House of Representatives is $165, 200. In his plan all of Congress is exempt from higher taxes. Does anyone find this disturbing? He does not consider himself wealthy? Problem: If someone is making over 1 million dollars, these taxes aren't going to affect them. This tax will hurt the small business owing family; the back bone of American business. They will not be able to higher more people due to higher taxes. If the taxes get too much then they may even have to close or sell off to a corporation.
Raise taxes on Big Business. Businesses who are corporations will get higher taxes. Problem: Big Business will not get hurt by this. They will not see a dime come out of their pockets, which sounds good until we hear why it won't effect them. Once these taxes go into effect the big business will raise their prices on the lower income and middle classes. There by causing inflation which in turn hurt the small business family because they won't be able to compete. Big Business also will not stay around in this country if they have to pay higher taxes when the Peso is so cheap.
Raise taxes on Capital Gains. Problem: This will not cause any revenue because the stock market is down. No one will get Capital Gains, and those who are still lucky enough to get any will fork most of the bill thereby maybe losing equity, hence the cycle starts all over of layoffs and no production.
Mandated Health care system. Supplying all people with health care sounds great. But who pays for it? Doctors? Lawyers? Congress? Hollywood (give us a break)? No. The Middle class. People need health care. But this is not the way to solve the problem. It is Democratic rhetoric. It is a ploy to get the vote.

He has a plan that will not "spread the wealth" as Senator McCain misspoke about. His plan will "redistribute" the wealth. This is the new socialist regime. Stealing from the rich to give to the poor sounds noblish and all Robin Hood humanitarian but will cause Big Business to leave and Small Business to fail. What a Stupid Amerikan, comrades. Don't spread the wealth, spread the news: Neo-Socialism is on our doorstep.

William Ayers-self proclaimed terrorist. An "American" who back in the 60's and 70's led a group of left winged nuts called Weather Underground. During this time he bomber New Your City Police Station, The Capitol Building and the Pentagon. Barack Obama has yet completely come clean on his actions with Ayers, who by the way said they didn't bomb enough places. It shouldn't matter if Obama was 8 when these things happened, he still worked with him. A true American would have refused to work with him until he denounced what he had done.
Reverend Wright-racist. No one should call him reverend. Pastors teach the teachings of Christ about love and forgiveness. Obama was there for 20 years and never heard of these sermons. Maybe he slept through them.
Tony Rezko-tax fraud nd bribery, convicted. Obama had him on his campaign finance committee which raised him $14 million.
ACORN- a corrupted group of left wing activity. This group is now in the news due to accusations of voter fraud. Obama continued to get endorsements from this group. And he wants to put earmarks in bills that will give this group money that the average American will pay for.

Don't trust this blog? Google these things for yourself. Do you really know the man who is going to be the next president? And he will be because we have millions of Stupid Americans.

The Poll taken in September revealed what people think about what the problems of America are today. The results weren't really surprising.

0% said that America's main problem was about inequality. This is not saying that this is not a problem. As long as the topic of racism, genderism, or cultural differences keeps getting brought as an issue then apparently is still remains a problem. This is still a problem when it comes time for voting. Countless times in conversations do we hear "I am voting for Barack because he is black". First of all he is only half "black". We hear on TV that Hillary would have captured the women's vote. And now Sarah Palin becomes an issue. Why? Those who keep bringing these things up are the ones with the problem. You should vote on what they stand for, not what they are. This goes with any topic: jobs, education, entertainment, etc. Stop making it an issue. This is America, get over it.
9% said that poverty and class struggle is America's biggest failure. Poverty hits all "races" so this can not be directly connected to racism. Unfortunately, there is no immediate cure for this problem. Poverty has been since the beginning of time and as long as there are greedy people in this world it will always be a problem. Our economic meltdown could be alleviated if one person who is amply supplied with money would take one hurting family and pay off a debt they have. But do we see anyone taking this step?
9% said America's failure is war and conflict. No one likes war but it happens. When it happens we need to stick together and support those who are fighting for freedom, not just ours but the world's. We need to give them everything they need to come home faster and safer, YET to finish the job and leave nothing left that will bite us in the butt when we leave.
81% said that America's biggest failure is our moral system. We wonder why we are going down this path of destruction. And we will be destroyed. Either from within or by the outside. Or even both. We are greedy. We abuse. We lie. We cheat. We steal. And these we do to our friends.

This election is very important. One party makes an issue of race. One party blames poverty on the other party. One party wants to tuck our tail and run. One party is so full of immorality that it has it's hand in the back pocket of the most immoral institution in the world...Hollywood. And backs up other immoral issues such as abortion, the gay agenda, being associated with terrorists and racist groups. Yet the other party has tried to level the playing field by giving a woman the chance to be heard and not cheating her out of the votes with super delegates. One party wanted to suspend their campaigns to actually sit down and help with the crisis while the other wanted to keep going because they had momentum. One party is trashed by Hollywood and wants nothing to do with them. At the same time they support human life and the value of American families. They disassociate themselves from people who they consider wrong to be associated with.

Now, which one is better? I think the choice is easy unless you are a Stupid American. If you are a conservative democrat then try out the Constitution Party if you can't bring yourself to vote for McCain. Send the Democrats a message that they need to change.

The most Stupid Americans of all has to be our Congress. Morals have slipped. Judgement has been fogged. Corruption has been bred. Laziness has set in. These have got to be the worse of all Americans.

This is the lowest Congress in job approval ratings in the history of America. As of right now according to realclearpolitics.com the approval rating is 17.5%. And that has been the high mark for the past two years. This is definitely a "do nothing" Congress. We thought the Republicans did a horrible job at doing nothing from 2004-2006. This one is worse. However, the Republicans in this case haven't helped any.

Today our "lawmakers" have denied to help the American people again by failing to bail out companies that are leading the way in the market. A bail out is not and should not be a standard action. But these are desperate times. They call for desperate measures.

Leaders from both sides of the aisle are of course blaming the other side for this mess. Here is a clue they should get:

IT'S BOTH OF YOUR FAULTS!!

Stop your complaining. You just came back from a 5 week vacation. You are going to wait until the next Congress takes office to even think about doing your next bill. That means most will have a 20 week vacation. How many of us can say that? Plus they get a six-figure salary and benefits. Yet they can't put away their asinine differences to help the American people just once.

If you are a Stupid American listen up! And if you are a True American please hear these words. DO NOT vote ANY of these people back in office. Whoever is running for office as the incumbent, vote them out! Pelosi....gone. Boehner...gone. Kucinich...gone. Hoyer...gone. Berry...gone. Waxman, Feinstein, Waters...gone. Tancredo, Shays...gone. A True American should be tired of this. We elect these people to represent us not worry about their careers. We hire them. We fire them.

Elect someone who will actually do something while they are paid.

Call them. Write them. Complain to them. But most of all get rid of them. Email this to all of your friends and get the word out to get the vote out!

#17 Stupid Americans

This economic crisis that we are headed towards is our own fault. Well, that and former president Bill Clinton's fault.

Stupid Americans and their greed of life. They want it all. They want to live beyond their means just to try and show the world they are important. For way too many years Americans have wanted the best of everything just because we were in competition with our neighbors, not Canada and Mexico, our next door neighbors in our hometowns. There are people who own homes, boats, trailers, RVs, motorbikes, snow mobiles. They have to have the best of technology: DVRs, IPods, Xboxes, Palm pilots, Blackberries, fully loaded cable systems, HDTV, 50" flat-screen TVs. There are people who go on vacation year after year after year. They buy two or three cars that eat gasoline like there's no tomorrow. And most of the time these people are all the same people. How do they do it? Credit. Where do they get it? Credit Cards. What happens to them? They stay in debt for life and get addicted to their lifestyles. Why do they do it? To show what they have. To show their neighbor that they are superior. To rub it in their faces.

Then when it comes to upgrading any of these things, it is time to take out a loan; mostly home mortgages. Any American who puts a second mortgage on their home to afford a boat or an RV is a Stupid American.

Some people in our lives who do these things then complain about how they never have any money or have to work harder just to keep afloat. All they had to do was sell all of their luxury items. But many Americans are Stupid Americans. They would rather keep their stuff than live without debt and be free.

Why is Bill Clinton at fault? Because in 1997 he pushed for creditors to lower the standard rates of loans (sub prime rates) so more people could get into homes. Now, this sounds like it was a good idea but just like everything else Bill Clinton did this action was for short term success. He's not known as Slick Willy for nothing. He just wanted people to get into homes so he can say that he was responsible for the success of American home ownership rising to the highest level in history for his own glorification. Well, owing thousands of dollars on a home technically isn't owning a home. It's owning a debt. At the same time greedy homeowners (home debtors) want to sell their home for 25% above the actual value of the home. Thereby cheating the person who really wants to start a new life and own a home for the first time. Then if they go to sell it in this market time they have to settle for 25% lower than market value. And now we are all paying for it. Well, the middle class is at least. And remember Mr. Clinton was considered a Moderate Democrat. Barak Obama is a liberal Democrat.

Any bank that would loan money to people who have bad credit are Stupid Americans.

Blame Stupid Americans and Bill Clinton. If you vote for Barak Obama, you are a Stupid American and get what you deserve. Unfortunately, you take us down with you. Thank you Stupid Americans.

#16 Liberal Heaven

California! The only things that saves Democrats in any national election is California; particularly the southern half from San Francisco to Los Angeles. The United States is ran by these two cities. If you look at any election these two cities are always going to vote Democrat. And not just for any Democrat but the most liberal of them all. Why? Because San Francisco has the gay vote and there is no way that they will ever vote for any Republican, especially any conservative Republican. And Los Angeles? Hollywood. Hollywood is so far left there needs to be another side made up just to describe them. Matt Damon, Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, Tim Robbins, Alec Baldwin, Michael Moore. For some reason this group of Americans feel the need to take away all of the moral system America had and flush it into the Pacific Ocean.

California has 55 electoral votes. That is 21 more than the next biggest state of Texas which has 34. Most of the time without California the Democrats chances of winning diminish. Former president Bill Clinton won both of his terms easily. But if you take out California (San Fransisco and LA alone) then the win would not have been as triumphant for him. When you add New York City, Chicago and Detroit in the mix, he may never have won either time.

This election California is even more important for the Democrats. As of this writing if the election was held today Senator Obama would win 273-265 over Senator McCain as stated on realclearpolitics.com. If you take out California (again only need San Francisco and Los Angeles) then Senator McCain would win 320-218.

The electoral votes need to be changed. No state should be in control of the country that much. This was something the founding fathers argued with. The larger states would control the elections if the smaller states would not have some kind of safety net. This is why we created two chambers of Congress. But California has grown too big for its britches. This is truly voter fraud. Florida was nothing compared to what is happening in California. Florida was just due to morons who weren't smart enough to read the ballot. All they had to do was follow the arrow and they couldn't do that. By the way Gore supporters, get over it. California's electoral vote is rigged to steal the election each time.

Just another way Hollywood and the Gay Agenda are part of America's moral failure.

#15 America's Moral Failures

#1 Politicians- The ones we put our trust in have abandoned the ways of our fore fathers. They have thrown away the traditions of our moral system, claiming it values one system over another. Well here is a hint: IT WAS SUPPOSED TO!

#2 Abortion- The act of killing the innocent. We talk about peace. We talk about love. We talk about remaining pure. We talk about hope. We talk about beauty. We talk about joy. We talk about miracles. We talk about life. All of these if you could describe into one word would be: baby. Yet we slaughter thousands each year. It's not about woman's right for it involves more than just a woman. If the woman could create such a thing without a man or God or would only effect herself instead of another heart beating, then one could agree to such a statement. But it doesn't.

#3 Pornography- The destruction of minds. Everywhere you go, images bombard your mind. Desire is said to breed in the mind and gives birth to sin. Sin brings death. Too many places and too many times we get lost in our lust. Sin tells you it is love when it is only lust. Lust is a lie. Love is the truth. God is love. Hence God is truth.

#4 Hollywood- The vessel for most of our immorality. The motorcade of moral decay. The hearse of innocence.

#5 Gay Agenda- The unneeded plan of those who choose to live a life apart from the rest of us. We all have a choice, even if desires push us into another direction. You can choose to have sex with a man, woman, animal, object, yourself or not at all. It is still a choice. Live that way if you want. But do not force it on the rest of us. Keep it in your own room.

#6 Judicial System- The ones who think just because the job was given to them and not earned that they can overturn hundreds of years of morality. The job is to judge the law not create it based on their own stupidity, prejudice, or selfishness.

#7 Abuse (Drug, Domestic, Verbal, Humanitarian)- The acts of inhuman proportions. The senseless act of destroying another human being just to get what you want. The ultimate symbolic act of pride.

#8 Education Systems- Unions telling their peers to support the rest of the liberalistic machine of abomination. The system that is supposed to be freeing our youth's minds and getting them to soar is the same system that is actually binding them to the lie of the left.

#9 Unions- See above, in every field of occupation.

#10 Lazy Churches- Why do we let this all happen and stay quiet? Get up out of your chair. Do something that will bring the morality back into America. Don't worry about numbers. Worry about content!

#14 Empty Promises

One thing that people should really pick up on about the Democratic Party is their insincerity. They promise hope. They promise change. They promise a better life. They promise to fight for people.

The empty promise of hope: The reason why people have hope is because every once in a while things actually do get better. But when a Democratic candidate promises hope, there is usually no substance behind it. Hope can not stand alone. It needs action. Even faith which is higher and stronger than hope needs action before it can be accounted as worth anything. Hope only comes from seeing things in action. The promise of hope is useless. It is like eating empty calories. Hope is only hope when you can back it up once in awhile.

The empty promise of change. This actually is from all parties of the political spectrum. Change only happens when someone can't get ahead the old fashioned way. No one is going to change if they keep getting elected. The Congressional approval rate is at the time of this posting is on average 17.5 % (realclearpolitics.com). We reelect approximately 85% of Congress each time and yet can not stand them once they are there. Only 67 members of The House are newly elected, that is 15%. They do not have any reason to change. We are duped over and over again by the same people. In the House of Reps one man has served over 50 years (Michigan). Another has served over 40 years (Michigan). Fifteen have served over 30 years. That means 17 have been there for thirty years or more straight, continuous terms. In the Senate there is one man who has served 50 years (WV). Two have served over forty years. Three more have served over thirty years. That means 6 have served over thirty years straight, continuous terms. Twelve members are newly elected. That is only 12% but since only 1/3 are up for election then it would be about 36% were first timers. Things won't change unless we make it happen. Just for the record neither McCain nor Obama are in the top 20 of longest serving leaders. McCain has served 28 years (24th longest). Obama has served almost 3. Well, 1 and 1/2 before he started running for president that is.

The empty promise of a better life. To understand this one read Papers #2, #7, and #11.

The empty promise of fighting for us. Each campaign Democrats go around saying they are the party of the people. When they go to Maine they say they are fighting for them. When they go to Ohio, they say they are fighting for them. When they go to California, they say they are fighting for them. Maine, Ohio and California are nothing alike. People are different in each area. How could they be fighting for one group of people and still be fighting for another group of people when these groups want the totally opposite thing at times? It is malarkey. It is wool pulled over people's eyes. The only thing they want is to be elected or reelected. If you don't see the problem then go back to empty promise of change above.

They have to offer empty promises because apparently they can't back it up with action.

#13 Democrat Double Talk

The last eight years have not been as bad as the Democrats want us to believe. And the problems we have faced have not been all of President Bush's fault. He just happened to be the man there at the time for someone to blame. The campaign this election is downright disrespectful to the President. Every commercial from the Democratic party tries to connect Senator McCain with President Bush as if the man is satan himself. But look at some facts. Google these all you want. Some may have to because they have been duped by the Clintons for 16 years.

The World Trade Center bombing; not President Bush's fault. In 1993 the World Trade Center was bombed in the basement. Who did it? A member of Al-Qaeda. What was done about it? Nothing. In 1998 two US embassies were attacked simultaneously. Who did it? Members of Al-Qaeda. What was done about it? Nothing. In 2000 the USS Cole was attacked. Who did it? Some members of Al-Qaeda. What was done about it? Nothing. In 2001 the World Trade Centers were knocked down. Who did it? Al-Qaeda. What as done about it? War! Finally a man stood up for America. Not one attack has been carried out since then. We haven't found Bin Laden but at least this president tried.

The Education Bill called No Child Left Behind (NCLB) that has educators up in arms due to the fact it may hold some teachers accountable for their skills is not a failure of President Bush. Congress passed this law. And if memory serves correct, Liberal Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA) was right there at the signing giving his blessing. If Kennedy said it was okay then by gosh it must be okay. (SARCASM)

The Housing market that has put one million families into foreclosures is not President Bush's fault. It was the mortgage companies and the stupidity of the American people to get themselves locked into stupid loans (balloon rates). It burst due to the fact the market could not hold any more inflated prices of houses, as what was like in 1929. By the way, the housing market crashed under democratic congress which has yet to pass a law helping this market.

The high gas prices is not President Bush's fault. The prices started to rise in 2000, under former President Clinton's administration. President Bush since taking office has tried to get off shore drilling to alleviate. The democrats said this would take 7 years to work. President Bush has been in office almost 8 years. And just by him saying we need to drill brought the prices down nearly $0.50 in two months. And this Democratic-controlled Congress has left to go on vacation without discussing solutions. In 2006 the average price of gas was $2.69; the last year GOP controlled congress. Now, the average is $3.70.

Hurricane Katrina was not President Bush's fault. First of all he can't control the weather like Obama can. Secondly, there were evacuations called for the people did not do. Thirdly, FEMA and the Governor of Louisiana did not act fast enough to get federal help. The damage was done. By the way when Iowa and the Dakotas get hit hard with 3 month blizzards and people starve and are without heat no one calls for any help to them.

Hillary Clinton in one of her speeches asked what people "missed about the 90's, the peace or the prosperity?" The problem is, the peace she is referring to cost us 3000 lives in one day due to the inactivity of her husband. The prosperity she was referring to was due to all of the short term job programs that her husband created. 80% of the jobs created were by small businesses. Not creating small businesses but created BY small businesses. Hence, most of these jobs were minimum wage jobs. Most were short termed. Many of these jobs had ended five to tens years after they were created. Yet in 2004, after two and a half years of recovering from 9-11, the American economy struck back. Unemployment under Bush fell to 5.6% and continued to fall to 4.2% up until 2006 when it began to rise again, under a Democratic-controlled Congress. Former President Clinton's economic plan was just a band aid that would last until his presidency was up. This is what is called Clintonism. Do what you can to look good and get you elected then blame someone else for the problems you created. Under President Bush the DOW-Jones hit an all time high in 2007.

What we should miss from the 90's is Monica Lewinsky, Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Whitewater, Perjury, Bosnia, Somalia, Al-Qaeda, Illegal donations, USS Cole, US Embassies, World Trade Center 1993, Waco Texas, Elian Gonzales, Janet Reno, Oklahoma Bombing, Don't ask don't tell, and all the other wimp out policies he created.

Keep in mind, President Clinton was considered a moderate Democrat. Obama is a liberal and knows it.

#12 It Takes a Village

It takes a village to raise a child. A certain senator who apparently used to have a more national recognition wrote a book titled just that. What she was saying to us is that society as a whole is responsible how a child is raised. It sounds noble but here is what that statement actually turns out to be. It’s not the parents fault for how a child grows up. It’s not really their responsibility. Parents aren’t that important. The real final meaning of her words, whether it was intended or not is that the traditional family has no value anymore.

The first thing that God did after creation in Genesis 2:24 was establish the institution of the family by saying "this is why a man is to leave his father and mother and stick with his wife and they are to be one flesh". It doesn’t say leave his friend or neighbor, or community. It says father and mother; a family. A child needs to be raised by his/her parents when all possible circumstances allow. The government does not tell us what a family is. If they can't define marriage then they can't define family. But God did both. But, no matter what the situation is, the important part is that we need to raise the child in a God-fearing manner. Proverbs 22:6 says you train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Parents, besides God, are the most important part of a child’s life and learning. We need to turn back to traditional family values not turn away from them.

A mother raising a child alone, since it must be very difficult, is one of the most respectful things in life but it is also one of the most tragic. This is not referring to where the fathers have tragically lost their lives. This is aimed at when a father ditches his family and abandons a woman to live a life of loneliness and to raise his kids by herself. This kind of desertion will destroy a child for a lifetime. Fathers ARE needed.

A mother is vital. In no way, shape or form can anyone take away that fact. But the absence of a father seems to be more abundant and a larger problem that we are facing. Men have drifted away from their responsibilities and aren’t owning up to what they have done. Mothers are raising kids by themselves. They have to be a mother and a father to their children and they’re not designed to be that way. Men have to learn to hold on to their family. They have to be the men that God created them to be. If the village is left to raise your child, then expect the streets of the village to devour them.

Example #1 Welfare sounds great as a concept. The liberal agrees with the village concept. This is the basis of the welfare system. When the village takes over the individual gets lost in the shuffle. The old adage is true; Give a man a fish and he can eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he can eat for a lifetime. The liberal wants the village to give out fish. Giving out a fish is not a bad thing but you need to teach them for the next time.

Example #2 Universal health care sounds great, as a concept. In reality, it can't work. It takes away competition. Competition gives us choices. Choices gives us lower prices. Lower prices means we can afford it more. Competition gives us companies who want to win. If you want to win you have to have a better product. Better products gives us better medicine. Universal health care forces us into what the village tells us. Choices make the village listen to us.

It's not great if you leave it up to the village because there is always a village idiot! Usually they're the liberal.

#10 Liberalism Part II

Liberalism kills people in all kinds of ways. It kills them openly. It kills them silently. It kills them mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. The essence of liberalism is based on human flaws and its reasoning is based on human rationalization. Human stupidity at its worse. It takes away everything traditional. It takes away all the mores and folk lore but it also takes away the values and morals that keep people going. People wonder why they hurt. People wonder what is wrong with society and other people. It's because they have been fed with the lie of liberalism for way too long. When they actually hear the truth they are afraid of it. It makes them so scared they get sick about it. Fear makes us say things and do things that are not logical. And because of this fear any ounce of conservatism seems wrong to them, especially the logic of the Judeo-Christian value system.
