#72 More Emptiness

Back in 2008, Paper #14 discussed that the Democrats are filled with empty promises they never intended to keep:  http://ideasoftim.blogspot.com/2008/09/16-empty-promises.html.  The same still holds true.  Nothing they promise (if it would be a positive thing) will they ever follow through with.  Most of Obama's campaign promises he has not been able to get passed.  Not so easy is it Mr. President?  You can't blame the GOP like he and his dominions want to do.  He had two years of a Democratic-controlled Congress.  The Senate even had a anti-filibuster amount at one point.  Even one time they had an illegal vote to beat the filibuster.  The House almost had the 2/3 needed to override anything.  But that is not the point of this paper.

Here is the point...apparently it goes both ways.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/01/06/republican-broken-promises_n_805139.html.  Let it be known this is a fair blog.

The pendulum may have shifted but apparently the shiftiness didn't pendulate.  That isn't a word but you what it means.  Didn't the GOP learn anything?  Empty promises create empty hearts.  Empty hearts are usually filled with anger to stop the emptiness.  November 2010 should have been a message to all politicians.  But I guess they are the stupidest of all Amerikans.
