#44 It's about the Apology, Stupid

It took six minutes to do something he really didn't even do...apologize for being wrong. When asked about the situation that deals with a Massachusetts police officer and Professor Gates the President overstepped his bounds by actually taking sides. The first news conference was about the health care policy, not racism. But of course the media had to try and make something else out of it. But instead of staying presidential and rebuking the media, he got involved. But to make matters worse he brings it up again on a national forum. All he had to do was say he was sorry or that he shouldn't have answered it on such a national forum which was supposed to be about the economy. Why was a whole conference needed for this? Because he is about the show. I guess this one wasn't above his pay grade. In the end it ends up being one big joke. "Let's go have a beer". So using the words of James Carville who mocked President George HW Bush, it's about the apology, stupid.

You had been warned of the oncoming stupidity and socialistic actions of the man we now call the President. Now we will reap what we have sown. You have to understand what this health care fiasco will do to the nation. If the health care bill passes we will become the United Socialist States of America.

On July 22, 2009, President Obama made a nationalized speech to promote his health care reform bill and its ideas. The language he used was just lawyerized garble. It meant nothing. It got nowhere. It explained zero. But that is what socialists do. Cloud the issue to get what you want done. One question was asked for a guarantee from Obama that that government would not overstep their boundaries in making decisions on your health. It was NOT answered!!!!!! That should be a warning sign for any smart person.

In his speech he stated that under his plan 50 million people would get health insurance. He said it would all be paid for and that it would create income for the rest of us. This is the same plan that most of the resources and budget watchers say is not a good plan.

First of all here are some things NOT mentioned in the speech. The following figures are from US Census Bureau, 2006 and are estimated.

1. Yes, 50 million may now get health care insurance, but where is the money coming from? President Obama says most will come from the waste of Medicare and Medicaid. Now anyone can see that there is always waste and this is a good plan to try and clean up the wasteful spending. But he did NOT say all of it would come from this waste. He did NOT mention where the rest would come from. And you should know where! The Middle Class. Some of these people are lower middle class. There are 150 million who fall into lower middle, working, and/or poverty class.
2. There are 100 million people who are middle class that pay their bills and live life but never pull ahead. There are 20 million who are middle class that seem to be pulling ahead and making some profit. There are 10 million who are upper middle class and more than likely your small business people. There are 10 million people who are considered "rich" and may not be really affected in the short term.
3. When these 50 million get their new health care and the Medicare and Medicaid numbers do not get it all paid, the bill will fall to the middle class. 120 million people will have to start fitting the bill. The same 120 million who are getting hit hard through the housing, auto, and banking crisis. When the bill comes to this group, 100 million who are just making will now go under. The 20 million who are pulling ahead will fall to "just making it". And the 10 million who own small businesses will be affected in their business. Which means they might lay off people to compensate their losses. And who works for them? The lower middle and middle class, thereby affecting their income and crisis even more.
4. So to pay for these 50 million people, 140 million people will lose more of their income due to TAXES!
5. Some of the programs which will be paid for may be some programs that the average American would not want to pay for. ABORTION, would be part of this bill.
6. Plus, since many of these insurance agencies such as those with Medicare and Medicaid when they lose this wasteful spending, will turn to raising their premiums and prices to compensate for the losses. And then who gets the bill here? The Middle Class.
7. You will not get to make the decisions about what you need to do with your doctor. Once this bill passes, all of your records will go to Washington, and someone there will make the decision for you. This means red tape. This means bureaucracy. Do you hate to go to the BMV and deal with those people? Well, they're local. Imagine going through the federal government to get something done. It takes 6-8 weeks to get your income taxes back. Imagine insurance policies through them. If you need surgery, you could die waiting for someone to make a decision.
8. You may lose your choice of doctor. Instead of getting the person you want, the government would make you go to the cheapest person to save money.
9. Out of the 50 million that will get insurance, about 10% will be illegal aliens. This is a ploy by the Obama administration to ensure more votes for the Democrat Party.

We all should help people. If someone can't afford their bills, we should try and help as much as possible. But it should be a choice. One thing all need to learn from history is that Socialist programs do one things: forced equality. And this forced equality is not high quality. It is forced poverty! President Obama will destroy the American dream. He can not be trusted.

Results from last months poll:  Is the stimulus package working for you?

• 63% said No. Not at all.
• 31% said not really.
• 5% said Yes, somewhat.
• 0% said Yes, tremendously.

Apparently, no one from the government answered this poll. Apparently no one from the Obama administration answered this question. Because if either one did then you have somebody say yes tremendously. There was 5% that answered that this package did help them a little but do they really know what the end result is going to be?

First of all if you have noticed your check may have had a little bit of an increase in the last couple of months. That is due to President Obama's plan. His promise to get more money into the hands of Americans so the economy can be established. A conversation was overheard at work by someone who voted for Obama that went like this: "I sure can use that $20 extra a paycheck.". But honestly what is that going to do? One more family outing to McDonald's each week? One more shirt in your closet? Even if you add up the money it would total $520 a year. Now if you saved it all then it may help you get two more car payments done or even a small house payment. But what you may not know is that the tax forms have changed due to the great stimulator we know as President Obama. http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=210152,00.html. You just might get a surprise next tax season. For example the old tax law said that if your bi-weekly paycheck was $1500, then you would pay around $197 in fed at 0 exemption. Well the new law states that the same income will now be $175. Yes, you saved $20 each paycheck throughout the year but you may not know that they are planning on taking back $22 dollars each paycheck at the end of the year, which means most of us will have to pay the government in April 2010. How many are saving this $20 extra each bi-week? Obama hopes no one is saving it to stimulate the economy and at the end of the year the government will get the surplus. Yes, he is the great stimulator...for the government. A great socialist going communist, or just a stupid Amerikan?

Real Americans know that this package is not helping you. Unlike President Bush's tax plan which gave YOU the MONEY and the OPTION of what to do with it and a tax break at the end of the year, this plan will give the GOVERNMENT the MONEY and NO OPTION on what to do with it. Learn the facts!

#41 Arrogant and Proud of it

This is a personal paper and not one that is usually full of facts for others to ponder. As I was sitting on a cold wet concrete walkway watching the fireworks and listening to patriotic songs I started to think about great this country really is and what it has gone through to stay this way.

For 233 years now we have been a beacon for the world to see. We have been the prototype of every form of modern democracy one can fathom. We have been a solace for those who have faced atrocities and hardships so much that they felt they had to leave their mother land to feel safe. We have sacrificed our own young men and women for the safety of not just our own borders but for the borders of our friends and neighbors. Our dollar saved the world from the Great Depression. Our leaders called out other leaders to get them to change and placed ideas of freedom into the hearts of peoples from other lands if their leaders didn't want to change. Our people send missionaries all over the world to help fight disease and starvation. Our government send aid to whomever needs it due to natural disasters.

Yes, we have had our times of trials, tribulations and tragedies. We started this country by taking away land from a people who deserve more than what they have. We took others from other areas of the world and forced them to become laborers for our own benefits. But our past is behind us. When it comes down to it all, we stick together and help each other. We may disagree with each other sometimes, but we have the freedom to do so and that makes us special. Some countries and people hate us. Some have called us arrogant; unfortunately, some of those are even our own leaders. Some are ashamed of who we are; unfortunately, some of those are wives of our leaders. But when I look at who we are and what we do across the world and what we stand for, and for what we have gone through to be who we are today, I say I am arrogant and proud of it. Some say we have to change. True, we need to love who we are again and stop losing our culture.
